Project preparation (input): During the preparation phase of a project, the IPM is responsible for the following activities.

  1. Creation of PT for the PM. Process documentation, see Intranet / Our Company / Quality Management / Process Sequences/. Checking the PT as well as adaptation to the actual scope of supply upon receipt of the order.
  2. Assembly planning by creating a detailed sequence program with all project-relevant activities and personnel planning through determining the personnel requirements and initiating the reservations in own department as well as with sub suppliers.

Timely procurement and shipping to the construction site and determination of the required assembly consumables and timely procurement and shipping to the construction site.   4. Regulation of the responsibilities, information paths and working relationships between the project participants and the construction site (including customer, consultant, representative) in the form of organizational and flow charts or, if necessary, construction site regulations.
  5. Drawing up an assembly contract with external partners, if necessary. Determination of the delivery sequences of the material through cooperation with the sales and handling offices of the units Project execution.
  6. Supporting the personnel who are assigned for the duration of the project. Dispatching personnel according to the personnel planning. Keeping a to-do list. Evaluation and distribution of the assembly reports and other correspondence.
  7. Ensuring that the construction site is immediately supplied with the necessary information, instructions, personnel and material.

    About the Role: Project Manager – EPC (Oil & Gas) | Saudi Arabia

    Kariera Group is actively recruiting for an experienced Project Manager – PMC for a major Oil & Gas project in Saudi Arabia . This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global engineering consultancy , contributing to iconic, high-value projects in the region.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, coordinate, and manage the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of large-scale projects by leading a team of project managers or area managers.
    • Ensure alignment with client objectives and consistently exceed expectations.
    • Drive project performance to meet or surpass budgeted gross margins.
    • Provide strong and consistent HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) leadership.
    • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, offering clear direction and constructive performance feedback.
    • Monitor progress against project scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
    • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams to meet key milestones.
    • Implement robust project management tools and methodologies to enhance execution and efficiency.
    • Build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including clients, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
    • Communicate project updates, risk assessments, and achievements clearly and regularly to stakeholders.
    • Effectively resolve issues, manage expectations, and mitigate project risks.

    Requirements

    • Proven track record in project management within EPC/PMC environments in the Oil & Gas sector.
    • Extensive experience managing high-value projects in a Project Manager or Director capacity.
    • LSTK (Lump Sum Turnkey) project experience in the Middle East is a must.
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams across the project lifecycle.
    • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Demonstrated commitment to HSE excellence and best practices.
