We’re looking for an Events Design Engineer in Saudi Arabia to translate the application / concept design into an executable engineering pack. Producing event design specifications to event engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts. Support and complete full handovers with the Project Manager on the confirmed design, with selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors and work closely with the event sales team on gathering all essential information for each specific event.

What you’ll do :
Design and produce specifications to support client requests in a timely manner
Work closely with the sales team and attend meetings to gather all essential information required for each event to generate a full design and services
Assist and carry out complete handover to Operations team including site design in accordance with Aggreko installation and commissioning standards.
Deliver improved project design, including modifications as per the agreed specifications and document changes.
Work with suppliers to improve quality, cost and delivery.
Ensure all modifications and new designs are correctly documented and shared with sales and operations team.
Create thorough and accurate bills of materials (BoM) and support the events teams with any technical issues associated with the supply and manufacture of electrical systems.
Adherence to the relevant quality, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements and standards.
Working outside of normal working hours at times to the demand of the events industry.
You’ll have the following skills and experience :
At least 3 years of experience in Design Engineering and power generation, within the events and power industry is preferred.
Temperature Control Systems optimizing performance and safety is an advantage.
AutoCAD Skills for creating and modifying technical drawings a bonus.
Expertise in Equipment Sizing for engines, generators, and ancillary systems and event design.
Problem Solving and Troubleshooting Abilities to support and design events for Power and Temperature control Projects.
Effective Team Collaboration with engineers, technicians, project managers and sales team.
