Parsons is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Environmental Engineer (Saudi National) to join our multidisciplinary team on a major airfield development project. This role will support environmental compliance, impact mitigation, and sustainability initiatives across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in environmental engineering, with strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting, monitoring, and reporting—ideally within large-scale infrastructure or aviation projects.

• Oversee implementation of the project’s Environmental Management Plan (EMP) in accordance with local and international standards.
• Monitor air, water, soil, and noise quality on-site, ensuring compliance with environmental thresholds and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with environmental authorities and regulatory agencies to ensure all permits and reporting requirements are met.
• Support the development and review of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP).
• Identify and manage environmental risks across the project, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Monitor waste management, erosion control, stormwater management, and hazardous material handling practices on-site.
• Provide engineering input to sustainability initiatives, including water conservation, habitat preservation, and pollution prevention.
• Assist in the preparation of environmental reports, audit findings, and inspection records.
• Review and approve contractor submittals related to environmental protection and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to coordinate environmental initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental engineering or environmental management.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, preferably in airport or aviation-related projects.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (local and international), EIA/ESIA processes, and monitoring methodologies.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001, LEED, and environmental management frameworks.
• Ability to interpret environmental data and prepare technical documentation.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and environmental monitoring tools (GIS, air/noise/water quality instruments).
• Certification in environmental auditing or environmental management (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor).
• Experience with airport environmental management, wildlife hazard mitigation, or airfield runoff control.
• Knowledge of sustainability rating systems such as LEED, Envision, or Estidama.
• Arabic language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing inspections as required during maintenance, scheduled inspections, heavy maintenance checks and aircraft modifications to ensure compliance with the applicable aviation regulations, and companies policies and procedures, appropriate manufacturers’ manuals and contract specifications/provisions and to ensure that approved equipment and materials are being utilized.

Contacting and visiting different potential suppliers and collect offers to supply the required material/service according to the specifications defined.

Preparing bidding sheets containing important information about received offers, including quality, lead time and prices in addition to preparing recommendations and conveying them to the procurement Supervisor.

Preparing orders against approved purchase requisition for materials, equipments, parts, or services from suppliers and forwarding them for approval to authorize entities.

Assisting to resolve all reported problems of received materials on relevant purchase order.

Exercising on assigned task by Procurement Supervisor.

Coordinating with Senior Procurement Officer to complete files about the local purchasing processes according to the accredited system in addition to completed records about the suppliers that the company deals with.

Diploma Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.

This programme delivers Electronic Warfare Flying Training, both airborne and classroom based, to a requirement set by the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF).

Your Background

As a C604 Captain, your experience, qualifications, and knowledge should include:

• 2,000 hrs PIC on Multi Crew, Multi Engine Jets or
• 1,500 hrs PIC on military Fast Jet aircraft (probationary Captains)

Pilots

The purpose of this position is to assist, support and advise the bridge management team in the safe navigation and pilotageof vessels. Reporting to the Contract Manager.

Responsibilities will include:

• Conduct safe and efficient pilotage duties on board sea going (tanker) vessels.
• To command ships to steer them into and out of harbors, estuaries, straits and sounds and on rivers and bays preventing ships from engaging in unsafe operations.
• Conduct safe berthing, mooring, un-mooring and unberthing operations of (tanker) vessels.
• Direct course and speed of ships on basis of specialized knowledge of local winds, weather, water depths, tides, currents, and hazards.
• Order crew at helm to steer ship and navigate ship to avoid hazards to shipping, utilizing navigation aids.
• Instruct tugboat captain(s) on the assistance required in berthing or unberthing operations.
• Consult maps, charts, weather reports, and navigation equipment to determine and direct ship movements.
• Provide assistance to ships approaching or leaving seacoasts, navigating in harbors, docking and undocking.
• Operate ship-to-shore radios or other means of communication to exchange information needed for the safe operations of the vessel.
• Advise ships' masters on harbor rules, terminal operations, and customs procedures.

Job requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Harbour and SPM pilot in the maritime industry.
• Master Class 1, IMO A960 training, Medically Fit is required.
• Experience with local navigation rules and geography.
• Team player with a collaborative approach and able to engage and partner at all levels.
• Excellent communicator and able to maintain high standards.
• Fluent in English(verbally and written) is a must and Arabic is an added advantage.
