This role will support environmental compliance, impact mitigation, and sustainability initiatives across the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in environmental engineering, with strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting, monitoring, and reporting—ideally within large-scale infrastructure or aviation projects.
What You’ll Be Doing- Oversee implementation of the project’s Environmental Management Plan (EMP) in accordance with local and international standards.
- Monitor air, water, soil, and noise quality on-site, ensuring compliance with environmental thresholds and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with environmental authorities and regulatory agencies to ensure all permits and reporting requirements are met.
- Support the development and review of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP).

Pilots
The purpose of this position is to assist, support and advise the bridge management team in the safe navigation and pilotageof vessels. Reporting to the Contract Manager.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conduct safe and efficient pilotage duties on board sea going (tanker) vessels.
- To command ships to steer them into and out of harbors, estuaries, straits and sounds and on rivers and bays preventing ships from engaging in unsafe operations.
- Conduct safe berthing, mooring, un-mooring and unberthing operations of (tanker) vessels.
- Direct course and speed of ships on basis of specialized knowledge of local winds, weather, water depths, tides, currents, and hazards.
- Order crew at helm to steer ship and navigate ship to avoid hazards to shipping, utilizing navigation aids.
- Instruct tugboat captain(s) on the assistance required in berthing or unberthing operations.
- Consult maps, charts, weather reports, and navigation equipment to determine and direct ship movements.
- Provide assistance to ships approaching or leaving seacoasts, navigating in harbors, docking and undocking.

Job requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Harbour and SPM pilot in the maritime industry.
- Master Class 1, IMO A960 training, Medically Fit is required.
- Experience with local navigation rules and geography.
- Team player with a collaborative approach and able to engage and partner at all levels.
- Excellent communicator and able to maintain high standards.
- Fluent in English(verbally and written) is a must and Arabic is an added advantage.
