Livestock Specialist (Pakistani National) — Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Our company in Riyadh is urgently seeking a skilled and dedicated Livestock Specialist from Pakistan to join our team. This is a full-time position with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided. English proficiency is not required for this role.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the daily operations of our livestock farm, including feeding, breeding, milking, and maintaining the health of the animals
- Monitor and maintain an appropriate feed and nutrition plan for the livestock
- Conduct regular health checks on the animals and administer necessary treatments or vaccinations
- Ensure all animal welfare standards are met, including proper housing, hygiene, and handling procedures
- Implement effective biosecurity measures to prevent diseases and maintain a safe environment for the animals
- Train and supervise farm staff on proper animal care techniques and protocols
- Keep records of all livestock activities, including production data, health records, expenses, and inventory
- Collaborate with veterinarians for any specialized care or treatment plans for sick or injured animals
- Must be a Pakistani national with previous experience working with livestock
- Knowledge of animal husbandry techniques and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team
