Purpose of the Role

3 million square meter
landscaped area within the prestigious project. This role ensures the highest standards in landscape aesthetics, sustainability, and service delivery—while maintaining strong alignment with client expectations and contractual KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee
daily operations
across soft-soaping, irrigation systems, and seasonal maintenance. - Drive the
development and implementation
of innovative landscaping enhancement plans. - Maintain
strict adherence to aesthetic and quality standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Saudi Nationality—
mandatory as per client requirements
. - 7–10 years of progressive experience in
landscape management
within
facility management
or
large-scale infrastructure projects
. - Proven ability to manage and maintain large outdoor landscaped areas ideally exceeding
1 million m²
. - Strong technical expertise in
horticulture, irrigation systems, and landscaping maintenance standards
. - Demonstrated leadership in managing
on-the-ground teams
and coordinating subcontractors. - Excellent communication and reporting skills;
proficiency in English

Job Description
Job Objective:
To manage all operations related to safeguarding irrigation properties and infrastructure outside the pumping stations from violations or encroachments, through overseeing internal maintenance activities and coordinating with entities intersecting with the irrigation network and operating near the system.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on workflow processes in coordination with the Operations & Maintenance Department and the Projects Department within the sector, concerning services provided by vendors and service providers (entities intersecting with the irrigation network and working near the system).
- Coordinate with relevant internal entities within the branch's scope to organize field inspection teams and ensure the application of required safety standards.
- Manage all operations related to complaints within the unit's scope, conduct studies and analyses, and escalate to the concerned authority for timely resolution.
- Manage the work of service providers and monitor their performance in fulfilling requests related to the General Supervision Unit, submitted via the
RI Platform
, in line with the guidelines of the Irrigation Authority within the branch's scope. - Intensify inspection efforts to detect violations, encroachments, or activities affecting irrigation properties and infrastructure (outside pumping stations) within the branch, documenting and issuing violations when identified.
- Follow up on permits received by the branch from relevant entities (requests for fieldwork permits intersecting with the branch's network).
- Identify and manage risks related to the Field Supervision Unit in accordance with methodologies and standards set by the Risk and Compliance Management Department.
- Identify workforce requirements for field supervision to achieve the unit's objectives.
- Evaluate the performance of field supervision employees, monitor progress toward individual goals, and participate in identifying training and development needs to enhance productivity and performance.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment among employees within the Field Supervision Unit.
Academic Qualifications and Professional Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional certification in Engineering from a globally recognized association is preferred (IFMA, CFM).
Years of Experience
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in similar roles within local, regional, or international organizations.
- Experience in the public sector within Saudi Arabia is preferred.
