Job Summary :

The HSE Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safety of individuals and the environment by assisting in the implementation and monitoring of HSE 360 programs and practices. He/She will work closely with the HSE Manager to identify and assess potential hazards, develop safety protocols, and educate staff on safe work practices

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support in the development and implementation of HSE 360 programs and policies.
  • Maintain and update HSE documentation and records.
  • Perform HSE inspections and hazard assessments of facilities and equipment.
  • Investigate and report HSE incidents and violations.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence positive change.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques.
  • Provide administrative support to the health, Safety, and environment department.
  • Coordinate and ensure document management and data entry of HSE files under various information systems as part of the ISO 45001 certifications.
  • Regularly ensure updates are made to the HSE files.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor HSE activities.
  • Provide logistics and follow the schedules of HSE activities: training, internal and external audit, internal / external inspection, HSE Management Review, etc.
  • Update of HSE performance and compliance indicators.
  • Any other related tasks as required by management.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HSE Specialist or similar role.
  • NEBOSH IGC 1+2 - OSHA or IOSH Managing Safely. ISO 45001 or equivalent certificates,
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry (an important asset);
  • Mastering of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Is professional, resourceful, autonomous, and discreet.
  • Demonstrates an excellent team spirit and is task focused.
  • Capable of multitasking and handling several files at once while prioritizing them.

As the HSE Specialist for EPS Saudi Arabia, you will be the cornerstone of our Health, Safety, and Environmental efforts across the business unit. Responsibilities / Accountability & Authority:

  • Ensure all company HSE policies are met and consistently applied.
  • Host and lead audits (internal, client, and regulatory authority inspections).

  • Prepare health and safety plans and support the continuous development of internal HSE policies.
  • Promote incident prevention initiatives for the benefit of employees and visitors.

  • Carry out additional duties as business needs dictate, as reasonably requested by the line manager.
  • Develop practical processes to reduce HSE risks to as low as reasonably practicable.
  • Create and support meaningful HSE campaigns and initiatives that deliver measurable improvements.
  • Coordinate industrial hygiene and occupational health requirements.
  • Support operational teams in conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures.
  • Ensure all required assessments (e.g., risk, health surveillance) are conducted, reviewed at appropriate intervals, and properly documented.
  • Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Actively support and conduct training for new-hire safety orientation, the Short Service Employee (SSE) program, monthly safety sessions, and annual refresher courses in line with country and NOV regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee proper handling and management of waste and raw materials, including labeling, inspections, documentation, accumulation control, and disposal.
  • Conduct ISO-standard and NOV HSE procedural internal audits and present findings and recommendations to the location management team.

The Team

How you will contribute
  • Management of the entire recruitment cycle from initial briefing to advert writing, candidate identification, headhunting, screening, interviews and offer process
  • Conduct research into target organizations (predominantly the ‘Big 4’ - KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, EY and other specialist firms) and industry sectors
  • Capture and maintain accurate market and candidate information on Alvarez & Marsal’s internal knowledge systems (Workday and Jobvite)
  • Produce accurate and timely reports in preparation for update meetings, progress updates etc.
  • Manage and execute a local graduate & internship programs
  • Attend local career fairs and work closely with universities and educational institutions to identify top talent
  • Build relationships to gain candidate referrals from colleagues (internal and external)
  • Communicate and update candidates during the interview process
  • Maintain up to date knowledge and awareness of all available candidate identification tools (LinkedIn, social media, company websites) as well as proactive networking for additional candidate leads
Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of recruitment experience (consultancy or in-house) in a fast-paced, professional services environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Arabic & English, both written and oral is essential.
  • Diploma and/or bachelor’s degree in business/management, human resources, organizational behaviour or similar disciplines is preferred but not essential
  • Strong resourcing skills (LinkedIn, social media and other networks)
  • Track record of recruitment innovation and creativity
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information at maximum discretion
  • IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in an internal HRIS system such as Workday and ATS systems is a significant plus.

We’re looking for a Junior Talent Acquisition Associate/Specialist to join our growing team in Saudi Arabia. Reporting directly to the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll support the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for our KSA roles. This is more than just administrative support you will own key parts of the hiring process to ensure smooth operations and a positive candidate experience.

In this role, your focus will be on executing core recruitment activities with accuracy, agility, and professionalism in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct first-round phone or video screening interviews for junior to mid-level roles, assessing candidate fit and qualifications
  • Source candidates proactively on LinkedIn and other platforms based on defined search criteria
  • Post job descriptions across internal and external channels, including job boards and careers pages, ensuring timely and accurate publication
  • Review inbound applications daily, identifying and flagging strong candidates aligned with role requirements
  • Manage interview scheduling, candidate reschedules, and follow-up communications to maintain a positive candidate experience
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data, statuses, and notes within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Track and consolidate interview feedback, proactively following up with hiring managers to keep the process moving efficiently
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to recruitment, such as coordinating reference and background checks
  • Participate in weekly working sessions with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to review assigned roles, prioritise tasks, and resolve recruitment challenges
  • Follow up on ad hoc coordination tasks and requests emerging from meetings or recruitment needs
  • Support recruitment events, hiring drives, and candidate pipe-lining campaigns, contributing to employer branding and talent outreach efforts
  • Conduct research on market trends and role-specific talent pools to inform sourcing strategies
  • Assist in planning and preparation for recruitment drives, university engagement events, career fairs, and diversity sourcing initiatives

Experience / Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition, HR or a similar role
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean search, etc.)
  • Experience in a media and publishing company or agency environments is a bonus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred but not mandatory

In this internship, you will:

  • Assist with the creation and posting of job advertisements on various platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.

  • Assist in preparing necessary documentation for job offers, referrals, and reference checks.
