Arabian Rig Manufacturing (ARM) is a 70/30 joint venture partnership between NOV and Saudi Aramco established in March 2018. ARM is an anchor project in Saudi Arabia's efforts to position the Kingdom as a hub of the MENA region by introducing world-class industry Rig Manufacturing locally, fostering economic growth and job creation.

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on, motors, valves, fire pumps, and CNC production machines (Milling, Turning and/or grinding). Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. Troubleshoots malfunctions.

• Knowledge of OEM machine controllers (MAZAK, Fanuc, Siemens and/or Heidenheim)

• Execute projects assigned, with guidance, on equipment improvements, rebuilds, complex troubleshooting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Production and Facility Equipment to promote UP time and lessen Downtime
  • Execute projects assigned, with guidance, on equipment improvements, rebuilds, or basic troubleshooting.
  • Follow OEM procedures, specifications & Drawings for Maintenance activities
  • Correctly diagnose equipment failure problems and be able to instigate proper repair procedures.
  • To Clean and inspect equipment, Emergency Repairs, Scheduled Repairs, and preventative maintenance Program of production equipment and facilities.
  • Assist and Provide Knowledge Transfer to the Juniors Technicians and other maintenance personal
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of spare parts for all machines to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain maintenance activities in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Following manufacturer's instructions, manuals, and diagrams, diagnose and troubleshoot basic equipment

Job Summary

This job is based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and will be responsible for Business Development and perform the duties of Subject matter expert for ASCO TopWorx products within Saudi Arabia and Bahrain for (not limited to) Hydrocarbon and other Process Industries.

Responsible for developing the Emerson ASCO and Emerson TopWorx products, solutions and services and collaborate with Sales team and act as subject matter expert.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and resolve customer challenges by proposing tailored solutions for Emerson ASCO, Emerson TopWorx, and other Pneumatics products.
  • Regularly visit Distributors, OEMs, EPCs, Stockist, and End Users to provide hands-on technical support and training on our product portfolio.
  • Identify new opportunities for our product solutions during site interactions and maintain an updated project pipeline in CRM and update it till winning it.
  • Continuously learn new products and technologies to assess customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Support negotiations on technical aspects like pricing, discounts, and contracts within delegated authority.
  • Partner with sales teams to develop strategies and provide technical insights for growth in Hydrocarbon and other Process Industries.
  • Report market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine business strategies.
  • Address technical challenges promptly during site visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Track quotes, proposals, and sales activities to maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline.
  • Work with Emerson teams on cross-platform initiatives and industry-specific projects.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and events to promote Emerson ASCO and Emerson Topworx products.
  • Engage in early project pursuit activities to secure involvement from initial stages.
  • Uphold Emerson's values; business ethics and promote a customer-centric culture.
  • Ensure compliance with company trade compliance procedures and raise any concerns.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.


Who you are?
  1. Strong expertise in Pneumatics product and having a solution-oriented approach.
  2. Excellent relationship building skills with adaptability to diverse customer environments
  3. Self-motivated with strong collaboration skills across teams.


For this Role, You Will Need:

Degree/Diploma in a vocation such as Instrumentation/Automation or similar engineering or equivalent.
  1. Previous experience in selling Pneumatics products and dealing with Industrial customers.
  2. 2 - 5 years of Technical Sales or Business Development experience with a proven track record, preferably in Hydrocarbon Industry and Process Industry.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship builder
  4. Excellent presentation and computer skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills; must be proficient in English
  6. Able to travel as per the business needs

  • Can Supervise & Follow up Electrical progress of works, installation & Commissioning of deferent units of the SATORP.
  • Able to Plan & Control the inspection of all Electrical works and related activities.
  • With Experience in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical works.
  • Monitor the final inspection of completed Electrical works before handling over to the Client
  • Able to Review Electrical Shop drawings and Vendor drawings for compliance with Contract Documents.

Qualifications:

Travel to Customer sites to inspect, install, commission, test calibrate, upgrade, repair, refurbish ARM/NOV Equipment /products.

Interface with relevant depts. to obtain a thorough understanding of NOV products and how they are safely operated, tested and calibrated.

Perform field upgrades of software and Electrical hardware using correct and current software and hardware control protocols.
