Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter. Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements. Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 4 years related experience, with average experience ranging from 6-10 years. Requires sufficient professional experience to assure competence as a fully trained professional. Work requires a broad knowledge of precedents. Job Summary:
Completions Specialist role is to provide outstanding field operations and performance in job deployment for completion tools & Liner Hangers to contribute into client trust, as well business growth and development, the role can extend into workshop support in tool preparation
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:
- Execute each well completion job in highly professional manner by following corporate HSE & QA/QC standards.
- Assist field engineer in running successful operations
- Follow operational policies.
- Adhere and follow completion tools running procedure.
- Participate in completions job preparation stage such as review of running procedure, well program, workshop assemblies, QAQC, and calculations.
- Ensure quality products and services are provided to the end user.
- Assess, train & mentor new hires on NOV completion tools.
- Complete end of well report
- Ensure field ticket is completed as per client & NOV requirements to avoid processing delays.
- Contribute to sharing lesson learned for operations improvements.
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Demonstrate work experience in field operations.
- 10 years of oil and gas experience
- Strong and proven background in completions and liner hanger operations
- Proven strong operations background
- Knowledge of organization effectiveness
- Maintain strong and professional client relations
- Team working, communication, and working under pressure
- Able to travel and work in field locations to complete operations

RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical responsibilities
- Proficient in S3D and 2D software's.
- Exposure of stress analysis concept.
- Responsible for piping design, plant layout, piping stress concepts and general requirements from construction, maintenance, and operability point of view.
- Originate new and revise existing engineering deliverables.
- Revise and check engineering deliverables against company procedures, standards, and checklists.
- Supervise engineering work being produced by juniors.
- Conduct and receive trainings related to job as required.
- Planning and completion of work within allocated man-hours effectively and plan work to avoid slippage.
- Interfaces, coordinates and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other team members.
- Delegation and distribution work as well as manage billability of team.
- Coordinates with all disciplines (as necessary) in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensure that other disciplines input are incorporated.
- Go for site visits and verify site conditions and markup drawings/perform as-built activities.
- Manage deliverables submission with required quality checks and proper management of record.
- Technical report writing and preparation of presentations.
- Full knowledge of Aramco, Sabic and Royal commission standards.
- Technical bid evaluation, Vendor document review and subcontract scope management.
