Personal Training Instructor
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Training Instructor to join our team in Medina, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract position suitable for Pakistani nationals with experience in personal training.
As a Personal Training Instructor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one training sessions to clients, helping them to achieve their fitness goals. Your duties will include creating personalized workout plans, demonstrating proper exercise techniques, and offering nutritional advice. Additionally, you will be expected to track clients' progress and provide regular feedback and support.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in personal training and possess strong knowledge of fitness principles and nutrition. You must also have good communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire clients. Fluency in English is not required for this position.

About the Role:
You will play a pivotal part in ensuring operational readiness, team development, and high-impact guest experiences across multiple wellness venues. 1. Operational Execution
Manage daily activities across all wellness venues ensuring readiness, safety, and exceptional guest experiences

Oversee shift transitions, staff allocation, and service readiness

Track and forecast KPIs, business trends, and performance metrics
Guide upselling and cross-selling strategies within the wellness portfolio

3. Guest Experience & Quality
Ensure consistency and excellence across the guest wellness journey
Review and act on feedback; lead guest recovery as needed
Coordinate with Front Office and Experience Planning for seamless handovers and communication
4. Team Development & Performance
Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
Foster growth and succession planning through coaching and skills development
Promote a collaborative, wellness-driven work culture
5. Programming & Experience Design
Partner with the Integrative Well-being Manager to curate and evolve experiences

The Role

Leadership & Team Management
- Assist the Head of Spa and Recreation in managing the daily operations of the recreational activities and services offered to guests.
- Lead and supervise the Spa and Recreation team, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure high performance and a positive work environment.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of the Spa and Recreation team members.
- Foster teamwork, collaboration, and communication among team members, ensuring they deliver exceptional guest service at all times.
- Provide regular performance reviews (probationary and annual) and assist in resolving any team challenges or issues on daily basis.
Guest Experience & Program Development
- Coordinate and oversee the design and execution of engaging Spa and Recreational programs and events that align with the resort’s guest experience objectives.
- Ensure that all Spa and Recreational programs and activities are well-structured, enjoyable, and meet the diverse needs of guests.
- Personalize guest experiences by providing recommendations and ensuring their Spa and Recreational needs are met.
- Stay updated on current trends and innovations in recreational services to continuously enhance guest offerings.
- Gather and analyze guest feedback to refine and improve the recreational program.
Operational Efficiency & Safety Management
- Monitor the operational aspects of Spa and Recreational areas, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are well-maintained, clean, and fully operational.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the team adheres to health and safety regulations while delivering activities.
- Attending briefing and operational meetings in the absence of Head of Spa and Recreation.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels during peak and off-peak hours.
- Regular monitoring on sign-in and sign-out activities and preparing the payroll documents on monthly basis.
- Manage the allocation of Spa and Recreational resources, ensuring they are distributed effectively and efficiently.
- Conduct monthly inventory and raise the purchase order before stock runs low.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control, ensuring that all activities are executed within the allocated budget while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction.
Collaboration with Other Departments
- Collaborate with other departments such as Engineering, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage and Front Office to ensure smooth operations and cross-departmental support for Spa and Recreational activities.
- Work with marketing and events teams to promote recreational offerings and drive guest participation.
- Liaise with the Spa and Wellness team to develop wellness-related activities and programs that complement the resort’s offerings.
- Coordinate with guest services to address special requests, VIP guest activities, or group bookings for recreational events.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate records of recreational activities, including attendance, guest feedback, and performance metrics.
- Provide the Head of Spa and Recreation with regular reports on activity performance, guest satisfaction, and any operational issues.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to departmental performance, budget usage, and staffing levels.
- Ensure all relevant documentation, including health and safety certifications, is up-to-date and stored appropriately.
- Handle any administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and tracking equipment inventory.
Key Qualifications
- A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a spa or wellness leadership role, preferably in a luxury resort or hospitality environment.
- Diploma or certification in Spa Management, Hospitality, or a related field; relevant wellness or beauty qualifications are a plus.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of spa services, treatments, and wellness trends.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficient in spa software systems and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a variety of spa services.
- Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products
- Keep documentation and maintain clients files
- Keep a clean and stocked room
- Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations
- Suggest and promote retail products or additional services
- Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
- Cooperate with and report on administration on any arising issues
- Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Spa Therapist
- Hands on experience in massage techniques, manicures, pedicures, waxing and face/body therapies
- Communication and customer service skills
- Degree or current license in aesthetics or physiotherapy

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Spa Therapist in a luxury spa or hotel environment.
- Recognized qualifications in massage therapy and beauty treatments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-centric approach.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Passion for wellness, self-care, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Comply with hotel rules and regulations and provisions contained in the employment handbook.
- Comply with company’s grooming standards to portray a professional image of self and the hotel.
- Comply with time and attendance policies set by the resort.
- Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development.
- Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to health, hygiene, and fire life safety.
- Familiarize yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures.
