Job Purpose

We are seeking an Energy Market Specialist to join the Policy and Corporate Finance Strategy Division (PCFSD) within Saudi Aramco's Treasury, located in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia (HQ).

PCFSD performs strategic analysis including mid to long term liquidity forecasting as well as advisory on strategic Treasury matters. PCFSD also serves as the primary interface for Treasury with other business lines and affiliates within the Company for strategic level corporate matters.

Education & Experience Requirements

As a successful candidate, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Energy Management, or a related field (required). Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), Economics, or a related discipline is (preferred).
  • 10 years of experience in corporate finance, planning, strategy, or treasury roles within the energy, oil and gas, or related industries.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CTP, or FRM (preferred).

Job Description

You will work as a Field Service Engineer responsible for installation, testing, and commissioning activities at customer sites or Hitachi Energy projects related to HV products. This includes third-party HV products if authorized by Hitachi Energy management.

Your duties include active participation in site activities, visiting customers for installation, testing, and commissioning of Hitachi HV GIS, GCB, LTB, DTB, and other equipment as assigned by your line manager. You will coordinate with the tools management department, handle HV tools, and utilize Hitachi Energy HV test equipment for site activities involving HV product installation, testing, and commissioning, as well as protection and control.

You will complete GIS installation and compartment assembly work, perform minor fabrication if required, troubleshoot, and rectify HV product defects at customer sites. You will advise on repair actions, whether in the field or at the factory. Supporting PGHV Service activities at the site or customer workplace is also part of your role.

You will learn to operate test equipment used for HV product testing and maintenance at various locations, including customer premises and Hitachi Energy facilities. You will work with the Project Management team on multiple projects, ensuring compliance with PM requirements and site regulations.

Leading contractors or subcontractors during job execution, coordinating with customers and back-office support for resource requirements, and ensuring completion of tasks are key responsibilities. You will obtain signatures on PAC or timesheets for invoicing purposes, prepare site reports, activity plans, and resource requirements, and share these with relevant managers.

Adherence to company rules, safety, and integrity standards is mandatory. Any safety or integrity incidents must be reported immediately. You will embody Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business.

Additional responsibilities include preparing and submitting weekly and monthly timesheets and expense reports, obtaining travel authorization, and maintaining professional behavior at all times.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
  • 3-4 years of experience in high voltage products, electrical equipment, switchgears, HV switchgear protection and control, monitoring, and measuring devices in industries or utility companies.
  • Computer literacy and excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
