Job Summary:
The Purchaser for Heavy Vehicle Parts and Components is responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing inventory for parts and components used in heavy vehicles such as trucks and other large-scale equipment. The role involves building strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining inventory levels to support the maintenance and repair operations of heavy vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing and Procurement:

o Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers of heavy vehicle parts and components.

o Source and purchase parts, including engines, transmissions, brake systems, and other specialized components, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and budget constraints.

o Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contractual agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible terms.

2. Inventory Management:

Key Responsibilities:
