We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in Building Services to join our dynamic team in the KSA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical design and engineering for building projects, particularly within the KSA market. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed calculations to establish HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system requirements.
- Designing mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection in compliance with local regulations and international standards.

- Previous experience working on Infrastructure projects in the KSA is essential .
- Strong knowledge of local regulations and codes related to mechanical systems in buildings.

- Assists in development of the short and long term mechanical maintenance strategy for the plant and the development of a capable engineering, planning and mechanical maintenance team to support that strategy.
- Abide with the O&M agreement with the Owner and the Contractual Services Agreement with Siemens.
- Ensure that the plant meets availability, reliability, efficiency, generation and cost targets, safely and within the environmental, legal and contractual requirements.
- Assists to establish the appropriate procedures and computerized mechanical maintenance management processes as applicable to a prudent management regime.
- Assists to coordinate mechanical maintenance activities with finance and accounting, administration, HSE and operations departments.
- Assist in preparation, control, analysis and reporting on the yearly and long term budget and business plan for the operation dept. to the various stakeholders through reporting KPI's.
- Actions assigned from internal and external audits for Environment / Engineering / procedures pertaining to Mechanical engineering.
- Closely following Siemens QA/QC during outages, Extra works monitoring.
- Review and implement of SiemensTIL's and update the status. Review Siemens reports , derive action items and follow-up.
- Conducting site technical meetings along with Siemens CPM and site O&M team.
- Identifying the third party resources, which are suitable for outages support, thus cost reduction.
- Monitoring of GT performances and suggesting site team for proper action. Assist in the operations QA/QC / performance issues / root cause analysis program.
- Maintaining high standards of management ethics and leadership.
- Review, implement and monitor the mechanical maintenance Methods / Procedures.
- Continual improvement of systems and procedures based on experience.
- Ensure the efficient use of resources through good planning, record and communication.
- Ensure that the maintenance plan is in line with the requirements of the O&M agreement with the FPCC and the Contractual Services Agreement with Siemens.

- Obtain a Permit to Work for each job as necessitated by the FOMC HSE Procedures put in place.
- Ensures all necessary risk assessment and precautions are taken by himself, the Mechanical Technicians and Contractors while undertaking any jobs in FOMC.
- Ensures that all tools required to work safely on the plant equipment are available.
- Monitors Mechanical Technicians and Contractors to ensure guidelines as per Safe Work Practices and HSE Standards are followed.
- Points out any unsafe conditions to Management.
Team Leadership
- Leads the Mechanical Maintenance Technicians and ensures a high level of efficiency in the Team.
- Builds and sustains a committed, cohesive and dynamic Team.
- Acts as a Mentor for the Mechanical Team.

- Recommends the appropriate training for the Mechanical Technicians.
Maintenance Task Planning and Execution

- Reviews Mechanical Maintenance Procedures and suggests where they can improve.
Equipment Failure Troubleshooting and Repair
- Supports reliable and accessible 24-hour engineering call-out functionality.
- Attempts all possible means of reducing equipment downtime and ensuring high plant availability.
- Performs trouble shooting activities as necessary to determine failure conditions and rectifies defects found.
- Records and reports to the Maintenance Manager all rectification jobs undertaken.
- Generates reports of equipment failures.
- Performs Root Cause Analysis of Failures.

Reporting, Overall Planning and Budgeting

Spares, Consumables & Tools
- Ensures adequate inventories of spares and consumables are maintained.

- Ensures Third Party Certification of all tools is done on an annual basis or as required.
- Ensures all tools are maintained and are in good working condition.
Ownership

This is a senior-level professional, project based in AlUla KSA, responsible to manage the Client appointed Consultants on multiple projects during RIBA Stages 1 through 4, in accordance with the PMC Development scope of services.
