Job Summary:The graduate electrical engineer will support the Expo 2030 infrastructure team in the oversight and coordination of electrical systems design and delivery. Under the guidance of the Lead Electrical Engineer, the graduate will assist in reviewing technical documents, monitoring progress of contractors and consultants, tracking approvals, and coordinating design interfaces with other disciplines. This role is an opportunity to gain experience in project management consultancy (PMC) on a high-profile national infrastructure program.
Major Responsibilities:- Support the review of technical submissions from design consultants and contractors, including drawings, reports, and material data for MV/LV networks, substations, street lighting, fire alarm systems, and ICT/ELV systems such as structured cabling, CCTV, and public address.
- Assist in tracking and organizing review comments, responses, and approvals using Bechtel’s document control and review systems.
- Support coordination activities across multiple contracts and disciplines, ensuring that interface points (civil, mechanical, telecom, etc.) are addressed in the design.
- Participate in site walks and construction coordination meetings to gain exposure to field engineering practices.
- Assist in monitoring the progress of the design and construction packages and updating logs or trackers under the guidance of the Lead Engineer.
- Help consolidate technical data and support the preparation of presentations, reports, and dashboards.
- Support coordination with stakeholders (e.g., SEC, NG, municipal authorities) by assisting in preparing documentation, presentations, and technical inputs.
- Participate in quality and compliance reviews and help log or track issues such as RFIs, NCRs, or engineering queries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university (graduated within the last 12 months).

Job Description:
Joining HPE in a graduate role is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, proactive individual to grow with us and help us drive our continued success globally. You’ll be joining a vibrant team who will support you throughout the duration of the graduate program to grow, develop and succeed.
What you’ll do :
- Participate and complete all training and development components of the Graduate Program.
- Gather information appropriately to develop an accurate understanding of HPE's customers technology infrastructure in the Data Centre Technologies
- Actively gain market, competition, product and solution knowledge thru company or self driven trainings, internal or external engagements• Attend and complete necessary/assigned technical certifications and trainings to further develop product, design and architecture knowledge around HPE and competitive Compute and HCI technologies.
- Contribute to the creation of an appropriate technical solution to meet the customer’s requirements
- Maintain good communications with customers and partners.
- Contribute in advancing sales opportunities effectively
- Actively support the account team with product advice, proposal support, presentations, and other customer communications
- Engage appropriate additional technical resources as needed
What you’ll need:
- Completed Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in 2024 with a focus in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
- Up to 12 months of relevant experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Experience or a proven interest in sales and a passion for technology.
- Excellent at building relationships at all levels and having solution focused discussions.

Project Overview:
Bechtel has been involved over the last 80 years in some of the world’s busiest and most complex infrastructure projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments. In the GCC, we have held significant roles on Dubai, Hamad, Muscat international airports, Jubail Industrial City, Riyadh Metro, Neom and Trojeana. As we consider the future of infrastructure globally and in the GCC, we are very enthusiastic about the future of infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
We are currently considering candidates with aviation, transportation, or large-scale infrastructure projects experience to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh.

Job Summary:
The graduate electrical engineer will support the Expo 2030 infrastructure team in the oversight and coordination of electrical systems design and delivery. Under the guidance of the Lead Electrical Engineer, the graduate will assist in reviewing technical documents, monitoring progress of contractors and consultants, tracking approvals, and coordinating design interfaces with other disciplines. This role is an opportunity to gain experience in project management consultancy (PMC) on a high-profile national infrastructure program.

Major Responsibilities:
Support the review of technical submissions from design consultants and contractors, including drawings, reports, and material data for MV/LV networks, substations, street lighting, fire alarm systems, and ICT/ELV systems such as structured cabling, CCTV, and public address. Assist in tracking and organizing review comments, responses, and approvals using Bechtel’s document control and review systems. Support coordination activities across multiple contracts and disciplines, ensuring that interface points (civil, mechanical, telecom, etc.) are addressed in the design. Participate in site walks and construction coordination meetings to gain exposure to field engineering practices. Assist in monitoring the progress of the design and construction packages and updating logs or trackers under the guidance of the Lead Engineer. Help consolidate technical data and support the preparation of presentations, reports, and dashboards. Support coordination with stakeholders (e.g., SEC, NG, municipal authorities) by assisting in preparing documentation, presentations, and technical inputs. Participate in quality and compliance reviews and help log or track issues such as RFIs, NCRs, or engineering queries.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university (graduated within the last 12 months). Display strong communication skills, comfortable working both independently and in a team environment on a variety of tasks. Ability and willingness to work full-time on a project-based assignment in Riyadh.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
Familiarity with MV/LV electrical systems, grounding, lighting, and fire alarm principles. Basic awareness of ICT and ELV systems commonly used in infrastructure projects, such as structured cabling, surveillance, access control, and smart city applications. Basic understanding of project lifecycle phases: design, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Enthusiastic to learn and apply project management systems and tools used in PMC environments. Good attention to detail and organizational skills. Able to work collaboratively in a diverse, multidisciplinary team environment.
