Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Design Manager to enhance the Sports Development teams. In this role, you will oversee the design process for various venue projects, ensuring they reflect our commitment to quality, sustainability, and creativity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and development of sports, entertainment or multipurpose venues.

As a key team member on the Qiddiya Sports BU development team, the Senior Design Manager is considered a key person in providing design and technical support in order to effectively deliver high quality Sports related vertical projects.

In conjunction with the Head of Development’s stated objectives and working closely with the Senior Director (SD) Planning & Design, the role requires the management of design development to drive efficient and productive direction through design management from concept through to successful handover of the projects.

The Senior Design Manager is charged with closely working with internal and external team members to meet or exceed time, cost and quality goals of an assigned portfolio in alignment with the overall Qiddiya development strategy.

  • Support the SD in the process of leading and managing the design process for venue projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to create innovative design solutions that meet the needs of clients and the community
  • Be familiar with the Qiddiya design standards and objectives and shall maintain full awareness of vision goals in order to help implementation.
  • Support the primary efforts of the Sports and Venue development team.
  • Work closely with the development team to shape and identify most relevant design processes and delivery methods.
  • Establish design briefs, requests for proposals, area programs, scopes of work and deliverable requirements for designers.
  • Provide research and findings for competitive product in the region and global marketplaces including seeking design consultants suited to the development objectives.
  • Oversee and liaise on all aspects of the project design including but not limited to architecture, interior design, landscape, signage, F, F&E / OS&E, coordination with MEP services and other specialist inputs including lighting design, acoustic, structural, security, IT, AV etc.
  • Manage the design process in coordination with external consultants from concept through to construction documentation stages ensuring conformity to the project stated objectives.
  • Supporting the development team to ensure that the level of detailing meets the anticipated high-quality standards expected for Qiddiya.
  • Must develop strong and collaborative working relationships with various internal departments within Qiddiya Investment Company to effectively manage the required interfaces at the appropriate times in order to reach the stated goals.
  • Manage design consultants to produce information to programme.
  • Attend briefing meetings with the Development Team as part of the design process in order to progress the design.
  • Support implementation of Sustainability issues.
  • Oversee and assess all matters related to design being ‘fit for purpose’ as well as reviewing all aspects of health and safety.
  • Review drawing information to date and contract project particulars.
  • Control the drawing management and distribution of all design consultants / sub-contract designers.
  • Control the design sign off process by all design consultants / sub-contract designers including internal design checking
  • Manage design change and design notification instructions in coordination with PM.
  • Liaise with the Senior Director Design / Development Manager / Program and Construction Managers to understand project programs, budgets and quality issues.
  • Coordinating with the Development Manager during the entire design and construction process to help facilitate timely execution and smooth hand-overs from design to construction and from construction to operations. This includes, but is not limited to;
    • Having a working understanding of the level of drawing and specification content that is required at each stage of the design process,
    • The ability to navigate the permitting and municipality approvals processes,
    • Being fully capable to manage contractor performance, site meetings, payment applications and handover documents.
  • Checking shop drawings for coordination and conformity to the design objectives liaising with the site team.
  • Assessing the material submittals to ensure conformity to the specifications and correct provenance.
  • Present a regular design progress report update to the Project Executive.
  • Assist in the management of the production of as-built drawings and preparation of O+M manuals.
Job specifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Must have a minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience in design management, specifically in sports, mixed-use, or commercial development projects
  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and successful project outcomes
  • Adept at reading drawings and specifications
  • Strong English skills (spoken and written). Arabic language skills are desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently deliver design presentations to large groups and VIP audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of design software and tools (including but not limited to BIM 360, ACAD, Powerpoint, Excel and other associated architectural software)
  • Ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and rise up to challenging goals.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills to set clear goals, motivate teams and produce results.

Scope: The Real Estate Investment Advisory Manager leads and develops the team of Real Estate Investment Advisors, ensuring they deliver exceptional client advisory services, build strong investment portfolios, and achieve financial and strategic targets. Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Performance: Monitor that team goals and KPIs are met. Suggest adjustments or corrective actions to the Director if goals require revision based on market realities or team performance. Provide day-to-day coaching, mentoring, and support to Advisors, with focus on client relationship building and investment advisory quality. Distribute leads effectively among team members, ensuring fair allocation and maximum conversion. Support Advisors in preparing complex investment proposals and high-value negotiations.
  • Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement monthly and annual investment advisory plans aligned with company objectives. Translate department strategy into clear action plans and initiatives for the team. Review and adapt plans based on team performance, market conditions, and investor demand.
  • Operations & Reporting: Review Advisors’ client reports, portfolio analyses, and investment proposals. Consolidate team performance data and prepare progress reports for the Director. Ensure CRM and reporting tools are accurately updated and maintained by all team members. Monitor quality of client interactions, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Capability Development: Identify skills gaps and recommend training initiatives. Oversee onboarding and continuous training of Advisors, ensuring strong financial and real estate investment awareness (ROI, IRR, NPV). Foster a culture of professionalism, growth, and advisory excellence.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing to align campaigns with the investment advisory positioning and generate high-quality leads. Coordinate with Legal and Finance to streamline client transactions and ensure compliance. Provide feedback to top management on client needs, product gaps, and market opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 4+ years of experience in real estate sales, or investment advisory, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of investment principles (ROI, IRR, NPV, capital appreciation).
  • Proven track record in managing teams to deliver high-performance results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Excel, and reporting dashboards.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (additional languages preferred).

Candidate Requirements

Role

The Senior Technical Design Engineer (Lead) is responsible for leading the design and development of complex systems and solutions, ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and alignment with business goals. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership and project management skills to guide cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for projects; lead design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions; ensure adherence to best practices, design standards, and architectural governance.
  • Project Management: Plan and manage design-related activities across multiple projects; collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables; provide regular updates to leadership and escalate issues as needed.
  • Design & Development: Develop and evaluate design concepts, prototypes, and technical solutions; oversee implementation of design changes and lifecycle management; ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with user needs.
  • Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and designers; assign tasks and provide technical guidance to team members; foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and regulatory standards; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design issues.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or civil or architecture).
  • 10+ years in technical design or engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional technical teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, system architecture, and development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in tools and technologies relevant to the domain (e.g., CAD, Revit, and software frameworks).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with building and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments and quality management systems.

As the Project Director - Global Wealth Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing a team of Wealth Managers across global markets, looking for investors to buy real estate in the KSA. You will manage real estate investors from around the world and collaborate with various departments to provide a seamless investment experience for international clients. Your role will include relationship-building activities such as roadshows, international PR events, webinars, and conferences, in coordination with marketing and project acquisition teams.

Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Planning & Leadership:
    • Design and execute Bayut’s multi-country entry strategy (Asia, Europe, the US, and the GCC).
    • Define market priorities, partnership structures, and sales objectives.
    • Develop campaigns with marketing teams to target the right investor audience.
  2. Talent Acquisition & Management:
    • Lead recruitment of Wealth Managers and Relationship Managers in target countries.
    • Create standardized interview scorecards, KPIs, and onboarding programs.
    • Manage and mentor international staff to ensure high performance and cultural alignment.
  3. Partnership Development:
    • Establish strategic partnerships with wealth management firms, private banks, family offices, and Islamic finance institutions.
    • Structure referral agreements, co-branded events, and private investment programs.
    • Build credibility for Bayut as a premier partner for Saudi real estate investments.
  4. Roadshows and Global PR:
    • Research, plan, and execute roadshows, conferences, and PR events to promote real estate investments in KSA.
    • Utilize global marketing practices to develop local and international PR and enhance brand equity worldwide.
  5. Revenue and KPI Management:
    • Monitor sales, revenue, and KPI performance of remote global teams.
    • Ensure the implementation of business plans and growth models.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a relevant field.
  2. Minimum of 10 years in sales or partnership management.
  3. Proven experience as a commercial sales executive, meeting or exceeding targets.
  4. Experience managing remote teams effectively.
  5. Track record of working with High Net Worth Clients.
  6. Deep knowledge of commercial avenues and market research/data analysis methods.
  7. Understanding of real estate sales processes.
  8. Ability to forecast sales accurately and analyze data for trends and issues.
  9. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  10. Strong team orientation with creative and analytical skills.
  11. Ability to thrive in a high-performing, fast-paced environment.
