The role also includes managing stock levels and readiness of medical equipment and consumables.
Accountabilities- Disinfect clinical surfaces and equipment at the start and end of each shift.
- Greet patients and take their medical histories.
- Screen patients for fall risk, nutritional deficiencies, and functional risks.
- Triaging patients in the emergency room.
- Perform minor wound dressings and monitor patients under observation.
- Administer medications aseptically and assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Follow strict infection control protocols.
- Withdraw blood for lab investigations.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels and medical equipment inventory.
- Orient new nurses and ensure adequate staffing.
- Collaborate with the medical director to ensure quality patient care.
- Supervise registered nurses and conduct annual appraisals.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Assess the need and upgradation for information systems to support and enhance nursing practice in coordination with end users.
- Gather and compile information to help create improvements in healthcare systems and discover ways to find the most effective patient care by considering the patients' resources.
- Facilitate the integration of data, information, and knowledge to support patients, nurses, and other providers in their decision-making in all roles and settings.
- Standardize and implement nursing data and content related to the clinical transformation process.
- Responsible for data collection, statistical analysis, documentation, preparation and feedback reporting for Nursing Operations.
- Coordinate acquisition of required resources for EMR promptly and accurately analyzes user needs and requirements related to EMR.
- Conduct systematic approach of formulation and/or presentation of clinical nursing information systems.
- Coordinate the introduction of nursing information systems with key stakeholders and identifies support systems which will integrate systems into nursing practice.
- Develop and implements the education of nursing information systems and serve as a resource for nursing staff regarding information systems.
- Partner with nursing leadership to match resources to support nursing practice information systems.
- Analyze multiple approaches/solutions to the informatics issue or problem.
- Builds effective working relationships throughout the organization with directors, managers, staff, physicians, patients and suppliers.
- Act as a resource to staff on clinical, professional, ethical and legal issues pertaining to service delivery.
- Participate in development and testing of the application functions.
- Consider factors related to safety, effectiveness, costs, and impact in conducting informatics practice.
- Participate in, and lead person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
- Perform other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skill and abilities.
