As a Senior Registrar, you will provide physically and through telemedicine comprehensive medical care to pediatrics including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. You will play a pivotal role in promoting child health and development, diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide comprehensive medical care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental well-being.
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, including detailed patient histories, physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests specific to pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for pediatric patients, incorporating evidence-based medicine, family-centered care, and age-specific considerations.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric conditions, including acute illnesses, chronic diseases, developmental disorders, and behavioral health concerns.
- Promote preventive healthcare measures, including well-child visits, vaccinations, growth and development monitoring, and health education for parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with specialists, pediatric nurses, allied healthcare professionals, and community resources to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for pediatric patients.
- Practice population health management by identifying and addressing pediatric health issues at the community level, implementing preventive measures, and promoting health awareness.
- Utilize telemedicine platforms to provide remote consultations, monitor patients' progress, and offer virtual follow-up care when appropriate.
- Embrace value-based care principles, focusing on optimizing patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs through care coordination, preventive measures, and efficient resource utilization.
- Educate parents and caregivers on child health, disease prevention, growth and development milestones, and strategies for managing common childhood conditions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine, including new treatment modalities, guidelines, population health management strategies, and value-based care models.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for pediatric patients, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and clinical audits to enhance patient care and outcomes in the field of pediatrics.

This is a busy existing practice, so we welcome new graduates or established providers to step into a practice that they can continue to develop and grow.
This is an outpatient opportunity with after-hours call and Saturday office hours shared between providers from surrounding offices. Calls only reach the physician after beingscreened by our excellent after-hours nurse triage phone line which handles more than 90% of the calls.

- Providing patient and family education according to patient's status and needs.
Educational Requirements:
- Successful completion of Sub-Specialty Fellowship training approved by SCHS and acceptable to KFMC with a minimum of one (1) year of Sub-Specialty training in one of the recognized countries in Saudi Arabia
- Certification by the appropriate subspecialty, if one exists in the certifying country.
- Training and post certification experience equal to or greater than seven (7) years in a Secondary or Tertiary care facility
- Independent practice in the Sub-Specialty
