This position is a full-time role located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
When will I work?
- Most of your work will be Sunday – Thursday during normal business hours.
- Some last-minute scheduling happens at times to meet our customers' needs when an unexpected repair or event happens. Your schedule may vary and will include some nights and weekends depending on business. needs. We strive for work/life balance and time-off-in-lieu may be granted to maintain appropriate standard hours.
- On-call and event support responsibilities.
Where will I be working?
- Your office will be in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Role is 90% travel. You will travel to customer sites within your regional area. You may also travel nationwide or internationally depending on business needs. Most of the travel will be throughout the Middle East, West/Central Asia, and Africa. On-site work can vary by location and from day to day. One day you might work inside a control room, the next day you might be outside on a lift or ladder working with a video display.
- When you aren't working on a customer site, you will work from your office to remotely support our customers.
What will work look like for me?
Our Audio Video Field Technicians provide high quality service delivery, on-site support and installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Daktronics' digital LED display and audio systems across the Middle East, West/Central Asia and Africa.
Onsite Support consists of supporting Daktronics equipment and end customers where the equipment is located. This work will primarily focus on:
- Providing service, installation, or support during an event at a customer site.
- Providing on-site technical and maintenance services for Control Systems and Display Systems.
- Leveraging your knowledge by training our Service Partners.
- Regularly participating in technical training on new and different products and systems to advance your technical knowledge to support Daktronics Customers.
- Actively creating and updating knowledge base articles for internal/external use.
- On-site technical support may include terminating fiber, field repair, testing and system level troubleshooting.
Remote Support consists of supporting Daktronics equipment and end customers. This work will primarily focus on:
- Providing technical, over-the-phone support to internal and external customers.
- Responding to customers' requests for technical support primarily through incoming and proactive outbound calls.
- Providing software application installation/configuration support along with "how-to" assistance.
- Troubleshooting and solving basic to sophisticated hardware and software technical issues.

To be considered for Audio Video Field Technician, we require the following:
- Minimum of an associate degree plus relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Preferred majors include Electronics Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, A/V Broadcast, or similar programs. Will consider non-technical bachelor's degree if applicant also has previous experience demonstrating technical learning ability.
- Three to five years of experience in a similar role is required (audio/video, electrical, communication).
- Able to work at heights, work from a ladder, and ability to carry ladder/tools/parts from vehicle to work site.
- Available to work evenings, midnight shifts and/or weekends to support facility event schedules.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel by air and ground. Must have valid KSA issued driver's license and good driving record.
- Must be willing and able to travel outside of the KSA. Role is 90% travel. Much of the travel will be throughout the Middle East, West/Central Asia and Africa. Occasional travel will also be required to locations such as the United States, China, and Europe.

This role will involve primarily working in the Service Workshop and being called upon to support field service operations on our customers sites in support of our service activities both within the Saudi and overseas when required.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaise with the NOV service and projects teams / management in all aspects relating to repair, maintenance and service
Activities for Pumps and mixers.
- Prepare, review, and approve work packs required for the activities being carried out by the service team members. - Undertake client equipment inspections and repairs including but not limited to the following:
• Mechanical completion checks, Factory acceptance Checks, Electrical function / loop checks, Compiling technical report for submission on customers equipment, Leak / Pressure testing
• Under management direction provide after sales services including inspections, spares, technical advice with specific requirements liaising with the engineering department when necessary.
• Ensure personnel compliance with all HSE legislation and HSE company policies.
• Be fully familiar / conversant with departmental and company policies, procedures and processes ensuring all work and actions are always in full compliance.
• Travel to the customers sites when required to support field service requirements as and when required.
- Carry out other duties as and when the business requirements dictate and may be reasonably expected by the Service Manager.

Essential Skills:
- Recognized apprenticeship in Mechanical engineering.
- 5 to10 years of experience in repair in mixing gearbox overhaul, pumps mechanical seal.
- Can demonstrate the correct interpretation of engineering drawings and technical procedures.
- Mechanical / Electrical knowledge within a service repair, maintenance, installation and or a commissioning background for pumps.
- Knowledge of industry standards and procedures appertaining to various industries.
- Computer literacy including a good command of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook, in order to complete technical service reports and other documentation as required by the Service Manager and Administrative Team.
