Your position

As Project Execution Groupleader XXL Projects, it's your job to staff and develop the project execution resources for the Airports XXL projects portfolio towards the company’s short- and long-term goals, including the development of the project execution organization in the region. Your key objective/focus is on continuously improving the team performance and thereby realizing the company’s objectives in line with Vanderlande’s profitable growth strategy.

Responsibilities & Your Profile

As Project Execution Group leader XXL Projects you are able to operate at a tactical level to translate strategy into operations. You are experienced in leading improvement programs in a complex and international environment to change the company’s culture towards a continuous improvement one.

Your responsibilities are

Lead and develop multi-disciplined project execution teams in project management, planning, safety, installations, and procurement, from a high-performance culture mindset. This may include development and delivery of training programs to enhance project execution competences. To identify and deliver improvement activities across the business through implementing continuous improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinking To complete post project execution reviews (lessons learned) and to ensure that improvements can be executed and embedded in future projects

Evaluate Capex requests related to Potable Water and Seawater Cooling Service lines as per Marafiq procedures and develop packages in conceptual stage, consisting of Scouting and Feasibility studies. Evaluate Utility Approval Request (UAR) for Potable Water and Seawater Cooling and get approval for the utility demands of new and existing customers and amendments from time to time thereafter. Review of utility design packages from Customers to ensure its compliance to Marafiq recommendations and infrastructure development design packages from Royal Commission to confirm its adequacy and suitability with regard to planning perspective and Marafiq Business.

Key Duties & Responsibility:

• Evaluate Capex requests originated from BU, Supply Plan or UAR as per Marafiq procedures.
• Conduct preliminary evaluation of CAPEX Project requests and coordinate with BU for additional information and clarifications.
• Ensure that the project opportunity is clearly defined and specify the key priorities based on information available. Validate the project opportunity and recommend the optimal solutions to ensure meeting CAPEX requirements and objectives
• Lead the team nominated from all concerned departments and carry-out scouting and/or feasibility studies as part of the overall project gating system.
• Study all strategic options and validate the recommended technology selection for new infrastructure projects and other CAPEX form BUs related to Potable Water and Sea Water Cooling.
• Prepare benchmark cost estimation in Scouting study based on information in project request.
