- Analyze project data and performance metrics, and prepare regular reports and updates for project stakeholders, highlighting project achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in the development and implementation of project planning methodologies and best practices, and contribute to the enhancement of planning processes and tools for improved project efficiency and performance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that project plans are aligned with project requirements, stakeholder expectations, and industry standards, and that all project activities adhere to established timelines and budgets.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on project planning protocols, tools, and best practices, and ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary resources and information for successful project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
- Proven work experience of at least 10 years in project planning, with a strong focus on developing and managing project plans in the (specific industry) sector.
- Proficiency in project planning software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar planning platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, with a solid understanding of project planning techniques and strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex project data and provide effective solutions for project planning challenges and optimizations.

- Ensure that the project opportunity is clearly defined and specify the key priorities based on information available. Validate the project opportunity and recommend the optimal solutions to ensure meeting CAPEX requirements and objectives
- Lead the team nominated from all concerned departments and carry-out scouting and/or feasibility studies as part of the overall project gating system.
- Study all strategic options and validate the recommended technology selection for new infrastructure projects and other CAPEX form BUs related to Potable Water and Sea Water Cooling.
- Prepare benchmark cost estimation in Scouting study based on information in project request.
- Review the techno-commercial evaluation of the selected strategic options and prepare the preliminary design.
- Identify project segmentation based on project complexity evaluation and cost estimation in scouting.
- Identify Lessons Learnt and project risks and conduct risk assessment workshops with all stakeholders.
- Conduct schedule challenge meeting with all stakeholders to finalize the project schedule.
- Complete project deliverables and submit to QA-QC department followed by Approval Authority in each stage.
- Capex prioritization based on financial indices and project risks is carried out to establish the investment priority of each capex.
- Participate in site selection process with Royal Commission (as required) and other stakeholders in Marafiq.
- Evaluate the UAR for Potable Water and Seawater Cooling. from industrial customers in all industrial cities.
- Conduct clarification meeting with RC and customer as required.
- Review design packages from customers to ensure its compliance to UAR recommendations and Marafiq specifications.
- Review RC design packages for infrastructure development in all industrial cities with respect to planning perspective.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures.
- Implement and enforce departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to procedural and compliance requirements.
Position Requirements:
- University Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum Experience Requirements
- 5-7 years’ Engineering or facilities management experience in heavy industrial or utilities plant.

**Overview**:
We seek an experienced facilities planning specialist to join our Unconventional Resources Engineering & Project Management Department/facilities planning team. The facilities planning team is responsible for gas processing and handling facilities and for planning and development of future unconventional gas development projects to meet the Kingdom’s domestic energy demand. Facilities Planning group is responsible for the development and coordination of the capital program development for unconventional resources. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct feasibility studies on major additions/upgrade to gas processing and NGL facilities
