Wood is currently seeking a SP3D Admin to support our Projects business in Al Khobar. This role is responsible for the effective day-to-day delivery of both hard and soft facilities services at a single site within our real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will lead a multi-disciplinary team, oversee service providers, and ensure operational excellence across all facility-related functions.

Typical responsibilities
Project Setup and Configuration:
- Create and configure new SP3D projects, including the setup of the database, file structure, and project access rights.
- Define and implement project-specific standards, work breakdown structures (WBS), and naming conventions within the SP3D environment.
- Install and configure SP3D software on servers and client workstations.
Database and Systems Administration:
- Manage and maintain the project's central SP3D database (typically Oracle or SQL Server), ensuring its integrity, performance, and availability.
- Perform regular database backups, restorations, and health checks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any database or software-related issues in a timely manner.
- Manage user access and permissions to the project data to ensure security and prevent unauthorized modifications.
Customization and Standards Management:
- Develop, customize, and manage piping specifications, component catalogs, and design templates to meet project requirements.
- Create and maintain custom symbols, labels, and drawing templates for various disciplines (Piping, Structural, Electrical, etc.).
- Ensure all project deliverables comply with company and client standards.
User Support and Training:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all SP3D-related technical support for project users.
- Troubleshoot modeling and drawing extraction issues encountered by designers and engineers.
- Provide formal and informal training to project team members on SP3D best practices, new features, and project-specific workflows.
- Develop and maintain user manuals and technical documentation.
Project Collaboration and Data Integration:
- Manage data transfer and integration between SP3D and other engineering software (e.g., SmartPlant P&ID, SmartPlant Instrumentation, SmartPlant Electrical, Navisworks).
- Run interference detection (clash checks) and generate clash reports for project teams.
- Facilitate and manage 3D model review sessions.
Reporting and Deliverables:
- Generate custom reports from the SP3D database as required by project management (e.g., MTOs, weight reports, progress reports).
- Oversee the generation and quality control of 2D drawings (orthographics, isometrics) extracted from the 3D model.
- Prepare the final project model and database for handover to the client.

Expected:
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical /Chemical).
Experience:

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Management of all aspects of Quality across the breadth of their respective organization and the services we provide.
• Identification and regular engagement of key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance.
• Management of and regular engagement with their quality teams ensuring competence assurance, performance appraisal, objective setting, and sharing of best practices.
• Effective planning and allocation of resources (including people and budgets) enabling delivery of agreed objectives and deliverables.
• Driving the Wood Business Management System (BMS) across their organization ensuring that its application is effective and that compliance with the system is routinely monitored, assessed, and improved as necessary. Facilitate external BMS certification as appropriate.
• Ensuring consistent and effective implementation of Quality supporting systems across their organization (e.g. NCR, Improvement action, and lessons learned).
• Supporting tenders and proposal activities for their organization
• Planning and execution of risk-based assurance plans including the escalation of significant findings to senior leaders.
• Monitoring and analysis of delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to senior leaders, and undertaking intervention as required.
• Driving efforts to maximize margin enhancement
• Ensuring that quality is driven across the Supply chain to assure the right first-time delivery.
• Gathering and acting upon customer feedback ensuring action is taken to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.

The Environmental Advisor develops and implements processes, procedures, work methods and initiatives in support of Subsea7's overall environmental strategies.
The Environmental Advisor is responsible for the direct management of Project HSE (specific to the Environmental aspects) delivery. Functionally reporting to the Middle East Business Unit HSSE Manager and to the Project HSSE Manager (and Project Managers) when allocated to Projects.
The role has accountability and expectations to work with the respective Project HSSE Manager (and Project Managers) within the Middle East Business Unit to support Project delivery. The role as allocated by the Middle East Business Unit HSSE Manager will also be expected to support the 'Win' strategy of the business through the delivery of HSE tender submissions.
Furthermore, the Environmental Advisor is expected to undertake an active and visible role in the day to day oversight of Project safety performance, to ensure Subsea7's Values are delivered consistently.
All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSSEQ culture within Subsea7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSSEQ codes and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a positive HSE culture and behaviour across Subsea7 and particularly within their sphere of influence.
- Champion the Subsea7 Critical Safety Behaviours Programme, setting the tone and leading by example.
- Ensure compliance with all HSSE policies, process and procedures.
- Responsible for the efficient, timely, accurate and cost-effective management and delivery of the function's activities within the designated area of responsibility.
- Provides leadership and technical assistance to all the Environmental Advisors (and HSE team members).
- Responsible for ISO14001 certification and supporting ISO 45001 certification accordingly.
- Prepares all the required Environmental Plans, recommend performance metrics; responsible for the execution and delivery of the plan.
- Delivers environmental training courses to Company personnel.
- Prepares, produces, maintains and/or reviews Company environmental documentation.
- Liaises with external regulatory authorities, as required.
- Ensures Company's operational activities do not contravene applicable environmental legislation or consent limits imposed by the regulatory authorities.
- Interprets new environmental legislation, standards, codes and regulations and inform the Company of any potential impact on their operational activities.
- Ensure HSE capitalises from lessons learned and is performed in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and integrity consistently.
- Develop the local HSE Function through clearly understood roles, responsibilities and performance objectives, regular feedback and continuing professional training.
- Works closely with Middle East Business Unit HSSE Manager to ensure consistent delivery of HSE across Projects.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Degree / Academic qualification in an environmentally related discipline
- Membership of a recognised HSE / Environmental professional body (e.g. IEMA, IOSH, IIRSM, CSA or equivalent).
- Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level working within the environmental sector of the oil and gas industry involved in all the workflow processes from tender / bids to Project execution (EPCI) until completion.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project HSE position with strong knowledge in HSE Management System (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), Project HSE Management, Risk Assessment Principles, Incident Investigation (E.g. TapRoot), Emergency Response Management, Behaviour Based Safety, Environmental Risk Management and all other HSE Subject Matters.
- Ideally possesses professional qualification(s) - Minimum NEBOSH Professional Certificate or equivalent.
- Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level in the subsea or offshore environment, with considerable experience in one of the HSE disciplines
- Experience in Managing Project's within Middle East or similar Project profile (I.e. Saudi Aramco).
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record within Project HSE delivery.
- Candidate shall provide previous Client approvals, if available.
- Candidate shall be made aware that they are subject to interview and assessment by Client representatives.
- Candidate shall provide evidence that they are no longer engaged from their previous Project assignment (E.g. Demobilization Clearance from Saudi Aramco). Note: This requirement is specific to candidate with Saudi Aramco experience).
