We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to oversee and implement security operations across the metro network during its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, emergency planning, incident response, and risk mitigation within complex transport environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans and procedures for the metro system.
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers, staff, contractors, and assets across all metro premises and vehicles.
- Lead and mentor security personnel, fostering a culture of vigilance, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Plan and manage security events, including high-risk operations, VIP movements, and public gatherings within the metro network.
- Oversee and manage incident investigations and reporting, ensuring timely documentation and resolution in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, implement hazard awareness programs, and lead safety/environmental audits and inspections to proactively identify and mitigate threats.
- Collaborate with O&M Contractors and internal teams to ensure alignment with metro security protocols and emergency preparedness standards.
- Support the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local laws and international best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the security industry, including management and/or supervisory roles.
- Proven ability to mentor and lead security teams, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and executing security operations and events in complex environments.
- Strong background in incident management, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, hazard identification, and safety/environmental auditing.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in transport or metro infrastructure projects.

- Provide roving patrol at a random basis in order to ensure that security of HMG and employees therein is properly maintained.
- Enforce familiarity of all safety measures, designs, equipment’s, standard ways and means used by the hospital as required.
- Coordinate with the external security issues that require intervention of HMG.
- Maintain record and logs according to department requirements.
- Manage the guarding of entrance to HMG locations and facilities are guarded and entry/exit of personnel and vehicles are registered and if necessary searches to prevent the entry of un-authorized personnel or vehicles.
- Manage through subordinates the design and development of comprehensive safety/security awareness programs and communicates that to all concerned parties to ensure high level of safety/security awareness throughout HMG.
- Manage the immediate response to any on-site emergency by taking the necessary course of action that mitigates the risk.
- Monitor and ensure updated record of CCTV cameras at all locations.
- Deal professionally with victims of crime and individuals in confrontational situations.
- Ensure that all lawful orders are carried out in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Participate in, and lead person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
- Perform other applicable tasks and duties within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities.
Education/ Professional Qualification
- Educational : Bachelor’s Degree
- Professional : Preferably in Management or Security
- At least eight (8) years of experience in the same field in which at least 3 years of experience at Managerial level position. Preferably Security Forces (Formal Officer).
