The role is based in the Firm's Security Services business. The Security Services business delivers investor solutions to help institutional client protect their portfolios, optimize their efficiency and maximize opportunities in diverse global markets. We support clients across a global custody network spanning 100 markets, with custody and asset servicing, fund accounting and administration, alternative investment services, integrated analytics, agency lending, collateral management and depositary receipt solutions. Our global clients include; Asset/Fund Managers, Asset Owners, Bank and Broker-Dealers, Hedge Funds and Alternative Investors, Insurance and GSEs (Government Sponsored Enterprise)

The Client Facing Team play a vital role in the day to day management of the Custody Middle Office. The Client Facing Team act of single point of contact for client's in respect of their Trade, Cash and Asset Servicing enquiries and likewise the Team performs client outreach, on behalf of the various Operational Teams. Key focus areas for the role are proactivity, responsiveness, knowledge and drive for excellence.

Job Responsibilities

AWS Global Services includes experts from across AWS who help our customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. Customers innovate with AWS Professional Services, upskill with AWS Training and Certification, optimize with AWS Support and Managed Services, and meet objectives with AWS Security Assurance Services. Our expertise and emerging technologies include AWS Partners, AWS Sovereign Cloud, AWS International Product, and the Generative AI Innovation Center. You'll join a diverse team of technical experts in dozens of countries who help customers achieve more with the AWS cloud.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT consulting/management with IT Transformation in customer-facing roles experience
- 3+ years of program or engagement management work leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud computing transition challenges
- Experience in IT consulting/management with IT Transformation in a customer-facing role
- Experience in program or engagement management, leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects
- Experience in enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies & distributed architecture
- Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of enterprise IT management frameworks like COBIT or ITIL
- Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP)
- Experience with customer relationship management, especially C-suite level customer engagement
- Experience with design of modern, scalable delivery models for technology consulting services

Job Description:

As a Security Officer at our resort, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property. Reporting directly to the Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing security protocols, monitoring surveillance systems, and providing assistance during emergencies. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various security-related tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol and Surveillance:Conduct routine patrols of the resort premises to identify and address security risks. Monitor surveillance cameras and promptly respond to any suspicious activities or breaches.
  • Guest and Employee Safety:Maintain a visible presence throughout the resort to deter potential security threats. Assist guests and employees with safety-related concerns and provide guidance during emergency situations.
  • Access Control:Enforce access control policies by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points. Ensure that only authorized individuals have access to restricted areas.
  • Incident Response:Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, or medical emergencies. Take appropriate action to de-escalate situations and coordinate with local authorities if necessary.
  • Report Writing:Accurately document all security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed reports. Maintain organized records to facilitate incident investigation and analysis.
  • Emergency Preparedness:Participate in regular emergency response drills and training sessions. Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and protocols to effectively respond to various scenarios.
  • Customer Service:Provide exceptional customer service to guests and employees by addressing inquiries, assisting with directions, and offering support as needed.
  • Collaboration:Collaborate with other resort departments, including management, maintenance, and housekeeping, to address security concerns and maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Desired Skill & Expertise:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security management is preferred.
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

POSITION SUMMARY

Patrol all areas of the property; assist guests with room access. Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system. Lock property entrances when required. Conduct daily physical hazard inspections. Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required. Assist guests/employees during emergency situations. Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents. Defuse guest/employee disturbances. Call for outside assistance if necessary. Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents. Handle all interruptions and complaints. Resolve safety hazard situations. Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation. Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts. Call for assistance using proper code responses. Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report. Maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents; release information only to authorized individuals. Conduct investigations and gather evidence. Conduct interviews with relevant parties.

Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. In addition, some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements to be considered for this position. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects).
