Job Purpose:

  • The Senior Specialist, Key Account Management, will support the Associate Director in developing and managing relationships with key clients within the hospitality sector (hotels, restaurants, retail) and other industries in KSA and potentially the wider MENA region.
  • This role will focus on sourcing and key account management, business development, and enhancing client satisfaction, while contributing to revenue growth.
  • The Senior Specialist will assist in identifying new business opportunities and ensure smooth delivery of Red Sea Trading & Logistic Co's services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Support the management of key accounts across hospitality and external sectors. Develop a solid understanding of client needs and contribute to offering tailored solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring consistent communication and satisfaction.
  • Business Development Support: Identifying, sourcing and pursuing new business opportunities within the hospitality and non-hospitality sectors in KSA and the MENA region. Participate in outreach efforts, networking, and client onboarding activities as required by the Associate Director.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Contribute to achieving sales targets by supporting the sourcing, on-boarding, negotiation process and client interactions. Help ensure services and products are delivered in line with client expectations and Red Sea Trading & Logistic Co objectives.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with logistics, sourcing/purchasing, operations, and RSG support divisions to ensure smooth service execution and problem resolution for key clients.
  • Client Retention & Satisfaction: Help implement customer retention initiatives, including regular feedback programs and proactive follow-ups. Assist in identifying and addressing client concerns to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs across KSA and the MENA region. Provide feedback and insights to the Associate Director for strategic decision-making.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Support in gathering data and preparing sales forecasts, market analysis, and performance reports for senior leadership. Assist in tracking sales pipeline health and key performance metrics.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Key Account Management or Sales, with a strong background in hospitality, logistics, or sales, purchasing
  • Familiarity with business development, sourcing, and logistics operations in KSA and the MENA region.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (both spoken and written) is required.
  • Client Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales & Business Development: Good understanding of sales processes and the ability to contribute to generating new business opportunities.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems to track account activity and maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Negotiation & Problem Solving: Ability to assist in negotiations and resolve issues that arise with clients or internally.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in both Arabic and English, essential for effective interaction with clients and internal teams.

Key Accountabilities

These will include:

Strategic

  • Lead the development and implementation of sales strategy for the Company’s key markets, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities and ensuring integration with wider corporate strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive business plan aligned with the company’s 5-year Medium Term Plan (MTP)
  • Meets medium-term business needs.
  • Leads major strategic bids with key accounts.

Local Content, Regulatory Requirements , Compliance and Risk

  • Ensure full compliance with all company policies, legal requirements, regulations, contractual obligations, and ethical standards within the sales team and department.
  • Drive initiatives to maximize local content integration within sales strategies and offerings, contributing to the company's commitment to increase company local content.

Customers and Account Management

  • Develop and implement an account management plan for strategic, complex, global existing accounts to build key relationships at local, national, and corporate levels.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Coordinate the engagement and alignment of the sales organization with customers to ensure effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues.
  • Manage strategic client and customer relationships to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and drive the Net Promoter Score to contribute to repeat business.
  • Support the sales team in opening new business opportunities in key (and new) markets and segments e.g. military, EV.
  • Foster strong customer relationships within the team and deliver customer-centric solutions aligned with input and support from other functions in LSA.
  • Contribute to pricing strategies and participate in key contract negotiations
  • Formally assess customer feedback and performance with data to convey an objective review of the level of service the team is providing; initiate continuous improvement ations when standards are not; align business process with customer needs, including relationship building and market entry planning

People and Performance

  • Embed the sales function's strategy and its relationship to the organization's mission, vision, and values within the team and drive the required implementation actions needed
  • Motivate people to commit to the mission, vision, and values and do extraordinary things to achieve the organization's business goals.
  • Identify the organisation’s sales capabilities needed to meet the current and emerging business needs of the company and develop corrective workforce approaches where required
  • Manage and report on the performance of the function/business area; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold individuals accountable for achieving them; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.
  • Develop and mentor sales team members to enhance their skills and prepare them for future roles, with a focus on identifying internal talent and preparing future sales leaders.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department

Internal Stakeholder alignment

  • Collaborate cross functionally with marketing, engineering and productions teams to support company’s target

  • Set a standard for professionalism through exemplary conduct and teamwork at all times to develop the same in others.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Minimum Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive sales experience, including 3+ in a leadership role in the utility (SEC, Aramco and Marafiq) and industrial sector
  • Demonstrable knowledge of in medium voltage products
  • Proven experience of opening new markets and grow existing accounts
  • Experience of building key account relationships Management with SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) desirable

  • Strong partner/channel background: VARs, system integrators, hardware alliances, and ISVs
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Proficient in Salesforce and other CRM tools
  • Capable of working across multi-cultural, distributed teams and remote settings
