What You’ll Lead And Deliver
- Oversee all operations and activities related to the Panel Shop, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Possess strong knowledge and understanding of Saudi Aramco Standards (SAMSS), system integration processes, and Wellhead Control Panels (WHCP).
- Ensure compliance with Aramco integration procedures and quality control requirements across all projects.
- Plan and coordinate Panel Shop operations including space utilization, integration scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Organize panel integration activities in alignment with IFC packages and Aramco standards, maintaining close coordination with Project Managers to ensure timely project execution.
- Assign tasks to Engineers and Technicians based on integration schedules and project priorities.
- Lead Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) preparations and support Project Managers in conducting internal testing and client FATs.
- Monitor workmanship quality and provide technical guidance and mentorship to Technicians to maintain high standards of output.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations within the Panel Shop, including the availability and proper use of PPEs.
- Manage the annual calibration of monitoring and measuring instruments to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee the upkeep of Panel Shop tools, including conducting annual inspections, inventory checks, and arranging maintenance or repairs as needed.
- Create Integration Task Orders (ITOs) in the DFP system, allocating man-hours to each activity and ensuring daily entries are updated per technician and project.
- Prepare and share actual Bill of Materials (BOM) for each panel type through the DFP system with the project team.
- Compile and submit the Project Leftover Material List (post-packaging) to the Store team.
- Prepare a list of consumables used in each project every three months and share it with the CED Manager for approval and cost allocation by Finance.
- Maintain and update the Integration Log (ITO) along with associated data. Develop manpower and consumable budgets per project and ensure alignment with actual usage.
- Ensure strict adherence to Factory Manual procedures and Quality Management System (QMS) processes. Review Quality Control (QC) reports regularly and take corrective actions to enhance integration quality.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 6+ years of proven experience in panel integration, factory operations, or control systems—preferably within the Oil & Gas or Industrial Automation sectors.
- Strong familiarity with Saudi Aramco Standards (SAMSS), WHCP systems, and system integration workflows.
- Hands-on experience in managing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and quality assurance processes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, IFC packages, and BOM documentation.
- Experience in planning, scheduling, and resource management for panel shop operations.
- Working knowledge of tools and systems like DFP or similar ERP/project management platforms.
