Your mission
As Technical Director - Water / Wastewater / Desalination in our Water division, you will lead and expand our water practice in Saudi Arabia, focusing on desalination, water transmission, and wastewater treatment projects. You will head engineering consultancy assignments, drive business growth, and directly contribute to the Kingdom's ambitious Vision 2030 water infrastructure programs.
Your key responsibilities
- Business Development : Identify and pursue opportunities in desalination, transmission pipelines, and wastewater projects. Lead bids and proposals, especially for PPP/IWP initiatives, and develop strong client relationships with government, utilities, and private developers.

As a senior member of the team, you will provide support to your direct reports, foster teamwork both within the region and AtkinsRealis generally, provide technical inputs to project teams and ensure that the client's objectives are delivered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The minimum requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering discipline from a recognized University.
- Professional qualifications like PMP, PRINCE2 etc.
- 15+ years post qualification experience in Project Management & Delivery
- Demonstrated track record of infrastructure and buildings projects delivery within KSA
- Experience with Tier 1 PMC companies as well as large contractors
- Significant experience in supervising the construction of complex projects (Infra) similar in size and nature to our project
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role involves the execution of duties to the highest possible standards. It is expected that the role will include but not be limited to the following key functions:
- Ensure the successful delivery of the project in terms of progress, quality and cost budgetary constraints.
- Review & approval of Technical documents submitted by the Developer to the Client and
ascertain if they comply with Project Specifications - Monitoring the project deliverables meet with the agreed standards and satisfy
stakeholder requirements at each stage of the project. - Monitoring overall project stakeholder relationships and adjusting strategies and plans for engaging stakeholders.
- Develop and establish the policies, procedures, and documentation for planning, developing, managing, executing, and controlling the project schedule, including monitoring project tasks and workflows in order to complete the project on schedule.
- Identify and document specific actions including establishing milestone to be performed to produce the project deliverables.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and documentation for planning, managing, expending, and controlling project costs.
- Identifying issues that impact the project and managing them through to resolution.
- Develop a robust change control system by setting a project baseline and identifying, reviewing, approving and monitoring proposed changes to the project scope.
- Development of a detailed specification based on the design guideline provided to developer.

- Manage and coordinate the inputs of project stakeholders and appointed contractor to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
- Assess and resolve site planning and coordination issues.
- Apply quality management principles and processes.
- Apply risk assessment and management principles and processes.
- Network effectively, negotiate well and influence people, broker relationships with stakeholders within and outside the project.
- Be aware of the broader perspective and how it affects the project.

Job Summary
The site QA/QC Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of projects with
adherence to specifications and industry standards during work execution.
This role involves monitoring, testing, and inspecting products and services throughout the project lifecycle to ensure
adherence to defined quality standards. The engineer will identify potential issues, recommend corrective actions,
and maintain comprehensive quality documentation.
RESPONSIBILITY
• Ensure implementation of Project Quality Plan Procedures, method statements, Inspection/test/audit plans
• Control all modifications and non-conformance reports and undertake/lead remedial (CAPA) actions
• Coordinate with external project stake holders (Client, Client Representative, Main Contractor, Subcontractor )
regarding inspections and quality issues at site and for their resolution
• Coordinate with Internal project stake holders (Quality Dept, Project Team, Site Team, Consortium partners, etc)
regarding quality issues at site and for their resolution
• Provide technical support, advice and awareness to site staff w.r.t site QC activities.
• Quality reporting to client, PM and functional manager.
• Coordinate and Control technical documents at site w.r.t. technical submittals, drawings, as-built etc to ensure that
only approved revisions are being used.
• Ensure approved/updated quality documents (QMS, PQP, technical specifications etc) are available at site.
• Communicate / distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to Project team and Sub-contractor and provide required
training/support.
• Maintain (file, archive, update etc) all quality records as per PQP, and hand them over to the PM and DC once the
project is over.
• Identify non-conformances and report to the respective managers, generate NCR where required
• Maintain NCR Register and control NCR's until their closure including Corrective and Preventive Actions and costs;
and analyse the same.
• Provide feedback on improvement of standard ITP's, QVD's, method statements etc
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Preferably Power Systems).
• Approved as QC/QA Electrical Engineer by SEC ( 2 projects approvals in the past 5 years)
• 5 years of experience in the same field or equivalent
• Willingness to work across the various regions of KSA (starting location is western region)
