Role Description

We are seeking a professional Chinese& English-Arabic Simultaneous Interpreter for an on-site project in Riyadh. The interpreter will be responsible for delivering accurate and culturally appropriate simultaneous interpretation services during a 3-day event, ensuring smooth communication between Chinese- and Arabic-speaking participants.

Project Details

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional simultaneous interpretation during live sessions, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

  • Facilitate smooth communication for food, beverage, and hospitality owners/operators, agents, equipment users, and vendors.

  • Interpret discussions covering three key aspects:

    • Food, beverage, and hospitality industry

    • Role and functions of equipment in the F&B sector

    • Technical introduction to equipment structure

  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout the sessions.

Qualifications
  • Native Arabic speaker with fluency in Chinese or English.

  • Proven experience in simultaneous interpretation.

  • Prior experience in the food, beverage, and hospitality industry is strongly preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle technical subject matter confidently.

  • Available onsite in Riyadh on the specified dates.

**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 4 years of experience in education technology, or selling enterprise software, account management, or a related field.

In this role, you will be a key player in developing and executing the go-to-market strategy to drive the adoption of Gemini for MENA region. You will manage a defined portfolio of universities and colleges within your territory, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor. You will build ecosystem partnerships in the sector that will aid the Gemini expansion.
This is an entrepreneurial role that requires a passion for education, an understanding of artificial intelligence, and a proven ability to drive technology adoption. Your primary objective will be to foster meaningful adoption that demonstrates the transformative value of Gemini for teaching, learning, and research within your accounts. You will act as an advocate for Gemini, building strong relationships with key stakeholders including university leadership, faculty, department heads, and IT leaders. You will be a critical contributor to our internal teams, providing customer feedback to help shape the product roadmap and refine the playbook for scaling Gemini adoption.A conversational AI tool that enables users to collaborate with generative AI and help augment their imagination, expand their curiosity, and enhance their productivity.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop and execute the GTM strategy for Gemini in Higher Education in a specific market. Own the key results for adoption within your assigned accounts, focusing on programs that demonstrate quantifiable value including delivering training to support Gemini adoption across users.
+ Act as a trusted advisor, helping faculty and departments build and execute road maps for integrating AI into their teaching and research. Manage records of customer interactions.
+ Identify sector stakeholders that could be enablers to Gemini adoption in the Higher Education sector (university associations; frameworks; leadership groups; etc). Be a thought leader across the sector.
+ Synthesize and relay feedback from customers to help influence the future roadmap for Gemini in Education.
+ Collaborate with teams across Google (e.g., Cloud, Marketing), to ensure you have an aligned One-Google strategy to support universities.
