Responsibilities

  • Identify projects offering sales potential and update the project list on a monthly basis.
  • Conduct sales presentations to consultants and contractors involved in those projects, collect information about our client needs, propose technical solutions and recommendations using Dextra products and highlight the benefits to our clients in the aim to get our products specified and/or selected.
  • Prepare sales quotations in line with the company pricing policy and the environment of the project; propose your recommendations to the Line Manager for final approval.
  • Organize follow-up visits and report weekly in writing about your sales activities, the status of the pending projects and your achievements.
  • Join internal sales meeting with your colleagues and the Line Manager to validate your sales strategy, refine tactics, exchange information and plan for the next actions.
  • Participate in technical seminars and exhibitions to promote Dextra products and services to the industry.
  • Update the sales forecast on a monthly basis to ensure that inventories and capacities are adequate; review the same with the Line Manager.
  • Report all relevant market information collected during your sales meetings concerning competition, projects and prices.
  • Participate to the determination of sales objectives and budgets, ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded in your responsible area.
  • Establish friendly and professional relationships with our clients ensure always a prompt and reliable service in your area of responsibility, contribute to the promotion of our company’s reputation and quality in the industry.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s in civil Engineer or relevant field
  • Min 5 years of sales experience in Steel Structures is a must
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Should have excellent level in using Microsoft apps, and have knowledge in CRM

Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Lead to join our Downstream Transaction Development Department.

Downstream Growth and Development (DG&D) implements the Company’s downstream growth strategy through the development of profitable investment opportunities, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and joint venture partnerships in the areas of integrated refining and petrochemicals, marketing, retail, lubricants and other areas of the downstream business. Downstream Transaction Development Department (DTDD) executes approved transactions within the downstream business by managing a comprehensive due diligence process, identifying synergies, mitigating risks, deal structuring and conducting negotiations.

You will be responsible for executing approved transactions including initiation and management of due diligence, valuation, structuring and negotiations of proposed deals, as well as engaging and working constructively with internal corporate stakeholders, external advisors and prospective partners during transaction development and post-transaction setup & readiness phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of approved investments and lead different due diligence workstreams, valuation, deal structuring and negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external advisors and prospective partners to ensure smooth execution of the transaction.
  • Provide regular updates on transaction status, progress and challenges to management.
  • Support the setup and operational readiness phases following the transaction’s completion.
  • Participate in creating the commercial, financial and technical framework for the deal.
  • Lead evaluation of business opportunities including valuation techniques and methodologies.
  • Define scope of due diligence required and coordinate due diligence activities; present results of valuation and due diligence activities and lead development of commercial agreements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • As the successful candidate you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical preferable, or other disciplines), Business, Finance or Economics from a recognized and approved program. MBA or a relevant advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • Professional Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are preferred.
  • You must have a minimum of 9 years of professional experience in downstream business development, with a strong track record of technical, economic and commercial experience in downstream business such as refining, petrochemicals, marketing (wholesale & retail), lubricant, logistics and storage with a deep understanding of associated operations, optimization and value-chain integration.
  • Experience in executing term sheets and definitive agreements typical in downstream transactions, along with management of post-transaction integrations, setup and readiness.
  • An adequate understanding of financial analysis of companies and valuation methodologies; commercial principles of a transaction; different types of transactions.
  • Demonstrate a leadership role in lead transaction execution and negotiations of definitive documents experience.

  • Superior time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects

  • Strong understanding of financial markets and the investment process
  • Strong demonstrated institutional sales experience which includes having worked in financial services
  • Excellence in both individual achievement as well as teamwork with a diverse set of departments
  • Experience working in the Middle East or covering clients in the Middle East or Saudi Arabian market specifically would be highly advantageous
  • Bachelor's Degree Required; MBA or Masters Degree preferred. CFA, FRM, CAIA, MFA a plus
  • Excellence in spoken and written English is required. Arabic language skills would be advantageous

As a PP Account Manager, you play a vital part in Canon´s innovative business sales team & you will be responsible for bringing in new Business to Business (B2B) clients & renewing, upselling & cross selling to existing clients in the KSA hence creating revenue growth by g rowing sales of Production Print Products.

By regularly engaging with new potential customers & existing customers in this vertical, you will serve as the relationship lead to these clients, as well as an internal advocate for the clients at CKSA.

You are responsible for understanding each client’s unique environment, business needs, technology vision & internal motivations. Using this knowledge & your technical background, you will seek out ways to fulfill clients’ needs & grow each client’s annual revenue & strive to ensure client satisfaction & retention & maximise the awareness of the brands name within the country.

You are both a hunter for new opportunities and also focused on developing long-term relationships where you nurture your clients to ensure longevity. You can be described as independent (with a lot of initiative) & solution-driven, focusing on big deals & enjoy developing strong customer loyalty.

  • Responsible to sell the Canon Production Print Products
  • Generating top quality prospects from small to big-size new businesses across the KSA & manage a very active pipeline with short or long sale cycles. Acquire & close new business deals through cold calling & prospecting.
  • Responsible for the care, retention & revenue growth of the existing clients
  • Establishing strong business contacts/relationships with stakeholders, including data gathering & leading the customer on journey to becoming a customer and keeping them happy
  • Identify qualified prospects & navigate company structures to identify decision makers. Proactively seek new avenues to penetrate clients & attract prospects and Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Applying consultative sales skills required to assist in explaining product benefits & features, overcoming objections, & closing sales
  • Drives customer engagements, meetings, develop opportunities & other skilled assets to position, propose & close deals
  • Deliver face to face &/or online presentations & proposals
  • Maintain active pipeline report through Salesforce, logging all activities
  • Quotes prices & rates as needed to close the deal
  • Assist with the analysis and preparation of recommendations that will drive greater productivity, cost reduction, or quality/process improvement
  • Able to gather (high level/detailed) customer requirements & sound understanding of business processes translating in a high-level solution design
  • Build compelling value propositions supported with a solution design supported with a clear business case (financial & business drivers) in customer’s meeting
  • Work in collaboration with the Canon Presales Consultants and Professional Services to define the best solution to propose to the customer
  • You are able to formulate complex facts/solutions comprehensibly.

What We Ask

Must have/be

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field
  • Extensive know-how in the area of business process optimization, digital transformation themes and/or in the field of cost calculation, as well as analysis and benchmarking
  • Strong interest and motivated in familiarising yourself with the topic of new technologies and current IT vendors landscape.
  • B2B Account Management background is preferred
  • Proven lead generation and cold calling (telephone or face2face) experience
  • Outstanding lead generation, sales, business development & negotiation skills
  • Social media skills (Linked In, Networking etc.)
  • Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills (written & verbal)
  • Excellent Mathematical & analytical thinking
  • English is mandatory & Arabic is an advantage
  • Experience using MS Office tools, Advanced Salesforce.com usage & Knowledge
  • Adaptable to unforeseen situations, keep focus on the customer & make empowered decisions with integrity, empathy, & compassion.
  • Consultative sales skills required to assist in explaining product benefits & features, overcoming objections, & closing sales
  • Ability to translate potential client needs into sales opportunities
  • Excellent listener, assertive, persistent, persuasive & results oriented
  • Strong hunter / new business development skills in B2B sales with a desire to exceed expectations & quotas.
  • Ensure the timely & successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs & objectives
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied & delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
  • apply appropriate sales techniques & demonstrate sustained achievement of stated goals.
  • Must be a self-starter with effective time management skills.

Valid KSA driving license & car is a must You will need
