About The Role

As a Account Executive, you will drive our growth in the Middle East by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You’ll engage with potential clients, present our fintech solutions, and close deals to drive revenue. Your role is key in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets in the region.

What You'll Do

  • Leading product demonstrations for new customers
  • Following up with prospects throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met
  • Developing meaningful relationships with all customer personas
  • Owning the handover from the Sales team to the Customer Success teams
  • Helping activate onboarded customers on Alaan and getting them started
  • Taking care of the activation cycle from onboarding to the first transaction
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer success managers
  • Provide feedback from customers and the market to product, marketing, and business teams

What We Are Looking For

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in Outbound B2B SaaS Sales, preferably in the startup environment
  • A serious degree of customer obsession to truly solve a problem for our customers
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility when addressing shifting or competing priorities
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process and convert leads to potential customers
  • You have a knack in building meaningful relationships with customers you’re in contact with

  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is a must

JOB PURPOSE:

  • To ensure performing accounting and processing of Fixed assets, petty cash and receivable transactions in order to ensure efficient processing and timely recording of all transactions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Fixed Assets:

  • Checking capex budget availability for each capital expenditure projects.
  • Monitor and report on actual spending against these capex projects compared to the capital job authorisation (CJAF).
  • Prepare and submit Monthly Capex Report to each department detailing the actual spending, and CJAF value against each capital project.
  • Timely capitalization of service stations and other assets placed in service (i.e. commissioned) and ensure they are recorded in the fixed assets register accurately.
  • Run Monthly depreciation using Oracle Asset Module and ensure that the same is transferred and reconciled to General Ledger (GL) accurately.
  • Coordinate the annual physical verification of assets as per the company policy.
  • Ensure that assets retirements and transfers are record in a timely manner in compliance to the policy and Asset Register is updated timely.
  • Reconcile the fixed asset register with GL on monthly basis
  • Prepare audit schedules related to Fixed Assets and assist the auditors in their inquiries.

Petty cash and expense claims:

  • Maintain records of invoices and payments related to petty cash, smart and credit expense claims.
  • Perform monthly employee wise reconciliations of card and petty cash transactions.
  • Follow up with employees to ensure timely submission of expense claims and settlement of staff advances if any.

Account Receivable:

  • Timely booking and matching of receipts for bank transfers, cheques, cash deposits etc against the respective invoice and debit notes.
  • Raise manual debit and credit notes based on the supporting.
  • Sharing customer’s aging reports with business units on monthly basis.
  • Responding to queries from other departments on collections, overdue invoices, customers on stop supply etc.
  • Reconciliation of customers statement of accounts for any discrepancies.

General Ledger (GL):

  • Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation in order to ensure the accuracy of accounting records. And promptly clearing of payment related reconciling items in the recons.
  • Creating Journal Voucher entries in GL when required.
  • To perform GL accounts reconciliation as assigned by the line manager.

HSEQ:

  • Adhere to OOMCO HSEQ standards and policy at all dealings

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting
  • Professional certification - CAT or Intermediate level in ACCA, CPA, CIMA is preferred.

Minimum Experience

  • 2-3 Years of experience in the same field

Skills

  • Working knowledge in Oracle financial system especially Fixed Assets, Receivables and General ledger.
  • Basic knowledge of VAT

  • Reconcile of the Account Payable sub ledger and advance payment to suppliers with General Ledger on monthly basis.
  • Timely communication to business and support department for extraction of monthly OPEX reports in coordination with Corporate Finance.
  • Preparation of Bank Recon and promptly clearing of payment related reconciling items in the recons.
  • Ensure appropriate coding and accurate recording of payables transactions including the subsequent maintenance of invoices, payment vouchers and cheque files.
  • Timely respond to queries from other departments and vendors on payments, OPEX and CAPEX.
  • To provide performance reports in monthly basis and on request basis in order to provide a view status of the company accounts.
  • Maintain all Petty cash/Visa card transaction and employee wise recons.
  • Provide relevant invoices/ documents during internal and external audit.
  • Keeping record of invoices and payments including petty cash

Account Receivable:

  • To handle the invoicing of Lubricants, Retail & Commercial Fuel on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure efficient transactions.
  • To proactively handle all invoicing issues with accordance to OOMCO policies and procedures to ensure high level of customer satisfactions.
  • Circulate un-invoiced deliveries report to the concerned department.
  • To conduct a monthly Bank Reconciliation in order to ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
  • Handle Financial Collaterals like LC, Bank Guarantees and PDC’s
  • Send Direct Debits to the Bank and follow up till it get credit in our bank account.
  • Arrange from the Bank- Bid Bonds & Performance Bonds as per business request.
  • Ensure all Bank Transfers/cash deposits/Cheques are recorded in customer’s account timely and on an accurate basis to ensure Customers do not fall on Stop Supply
  • To provide performance reports monthly and on request basis in order to provide a view status of the customer’s account in order to maintain efficient the debtor days.
  • To review, identify and maintain continues improvement initiatives within the business functionality to ensure operation excellence.
  • Keep record of all invoices issued to customers.
  • MADA/Master card and Cash in Hand account recons on monthly basis
  • Sharing customer’s aging reports with business units on monthly basis

GL Ledger:

  • Passing JVs in GL when required
  • To do GL accounts recons as assigned by the management

HSEQ

  • Adhere to OOMCO HSEQ standards and policy at all dealings

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting
  • Professional certification - CAT or Intermediate level in ACCA, CPA, CIMA is preferred.

Minimum Experience

  • 2-3 Years of experience in the same field

Skills

  • Good knowledge in Oracle financial system especially AP, AR and GL.
  • Good knowledge of VAT
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good communication skills both in Arabic and English.
