4. Prepare and make E&S presentations to various clarifying E&S goals /achievements /gaps and corrective actions.

5. Organize and coordinate for educational and communicative programs to promote HSSE skills.

6. Assist HSSE megaprojects Manager in preparing the annual department budget, including preparing annual department goals.

7. Coordinate with the procurement /supply chain department for purchased construction materials as per PO inquiries and descriptions under HSSE specifications.

8. Keep aware of legislative changes in environmental law and the relative impact on HSSE megaproject construction jobs.

9. Coordinate for in/out any correspondences /documents regarding HSSE matters, and maintain it all in an organized and accessible filing system.

Meso Saudi Arabia is seeking a Safety Officer to join our team. You will ensure that the workforce operating at the client’s mine site complies with Metso’s safety procedures and the client’s HSE regulations. The Safety Officer will promote proactive safety practices, ensure compliance with client expectations, and foster a culture of continuous safety improvement. Performance will be measured using key safety metrics including CCV, LSR compliance, VFL engagement, and behavioral observations.

This position is located at a remote site in Saudi Arabia and involves working on a rotation basis.

Prepare and control work permits if applicable. Provide an evaluation and feedback on contractor’s competencies, procedures, documents and work processes. Ensure contractor’s staffing and competencies are maintained throughout the project phase and aligned with their manpower and execution plans. Develop project training packages and deliver these to the Project Management Team and contractors management. Undertake thorough accident/incident investigation. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in related projects( oil & gas / Petrochemical plants). Strong supervisory background with sound practical experience in multi-national culture.
