This is a premier sporting event that will leverage the Cityscape Global platform to engage a wider audience and showcase the vibrant sporting culture of the region with a focus on the Kingdom’s preparation for hosting some of the key sports events in the coming years.

You will be responsible for:

  • The successful launch of the Saudi Mega Stadiums Show, includingbrand creation, go-to market and lead generation strategies

Other general responsibilities include:

  • Understandingvisitor and exhibitors'digital behaviour, through continual testing and reporting on channel and campaign performance, in order to optimise plans. This will include using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and other third-party platforms to spot issues and opportunities.
  • Working with our supporting agencies to develop the strategy and setup of all paid campaigns
  • Measuringand optimizingour paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports.
  • Identifyingevolving SEO practices and collaboratingwith internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop new cutting-edge digital campaigns.
  • Developingnew and creative organic search growth strategies for each stage of a customer lifecycle, in accordance to the unique digital trends and platforms of various international markets.
  • Collaboratingwith content marketing and blog contributors to create high-quality content around important, relevant terms.
  • Managingand improvingorganic search engine performance and goal-setting based on clickthrough rates, traffic, and conversions.
  • Designing and implementing testing and optimisation strategies (including A/B testing, landing pages and CTA’s).
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Marketing Manager
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Thorough understanding & experience of digital (PPC, SEO, online advertising) and direct marketing.
  • Database development and growth including segmentation / advanced targeting.
  • Building relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Analytical and questioning mindset.
  • Significant exposure to design and print suppliers / agencies.
  • Deadline and target driven.
  • Experience of working in a pressurised environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. In Both English & Arabic
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office including intermediate/advanced PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic and creative Events Specialist to be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events to support Calo’s business objectives in Saudi.

Main Responsibilities

Event Planning and Coordination

  • Plan and organize a variety of offline events, including but not limited to product launches, sports events, entertainment events, health fairs, workshops, and community events
  • Develop detailed event plans, including budgets, timelines, and logistics with the ability to execute these plans effectively and ensure smooth event execution

Stakeholders Management

  • Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors, venues, and other event partners
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders, including operations, supply chain, finance, design team, and marketing

Marketing and Promotion

  • Plan and create events booths with external agencies to deliver suitable promotional booth at events under Calo’s guidelines
  • Create marketing materials for events, including flyers, posters, activations and needed merch

Logistics Management

  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue setup, audio-visual equipment, catering, and access pass
  • Ensure all necessary permits and insurance are obtained for events

Food Safety and Quality

  • Ensure meals and snacks are delivered and placed in the events according to food safety and quality procedures

Audience Engagement

  • Develop and execute activities that engage and educate attendees about our healthy meal plans

Post-Event Evaluation

  • Collect and analyze attendees and Calo Team feedback to improve future events
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events and identify areas of improvement
  • Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, including attendance, engagement, and overall effectiveness

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of proven experience in event planning, coordination, and execution
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills in both English and Arabic

Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.

The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Marketing consultants lead the strategy development and implementation of campaigns and engagements for clients. They use customer data to provide deep direct marketing expertise across channels, evaluating campaign results and adapting the approach to optimize marketing performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

Client Impact

  • Manage deliverable development and multiple workstreams on projects across a range of industries and problem statements.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and campaigns for large regional and global clients by working with technology and data.
  • Manage working relationship with client managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner.

Team Collaboration & Culture

  • Develop sound business recommendations and deliver effective client presentations.
  • Plan, organize, and structure own work and that of junior project delivery consultants to generate marketing strategies and insights, and prepare presentations.
  • Lead team and external meetings, and lead or co-lead project management.
  • Collaborate with internal Mastercard stakeholders including Product and Business Development to build the firm's intellectual capital and solution development.
  • Grow from coaching to enable ownership of day-to-day project management across client projects, and mentor junior consultants.
Qualifications

Basic qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree with work experience in marketing and campaign projects focused on one or more of the following fields: marketing content, digital and social media campaigns, digital customer experience, digital marketing, end-to-end product launch, ad-tech and mar-tech ecosystems, offline marketing activities/campaigns, media management and planning, direct response marketing.
  • Experience managing tasks or workstreams in a collaborative team environment with third parties.
  • Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local office language (if applicable).
  • Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs.

Preferred qualifications

  • Additional marketing experience in one or more of the following fields: marketing and campaign experience from agency environment, search engine optimization and search engine marketing, video making (e.g., scripting, storyboard, and content), marketing content, usability labs and experience research, print production management.
  • Global supply chain management (GSM), including sourcing new suppliers and assessing third party production vendors.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience developing and implementing solutions and measuring impact on clients' business.
  • Experience managing tasks or workstreams in a collaborative team environment with third parties.
  • Experience coaching junior delivery consultants.
  • Relevant industry expertise and/or experience in product, sales, or marketing technology.
  • MBA or master’s degree with specialization in marketing or digital (is a plus).
