- Bachelor’s degree in communication, mass media, marketing or related degree
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Agency experience is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - English and Arabic

**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
- Design, develop and execute a content strategy within the alloted budget
- Scheduling and coordinating brainstorming sessions with the team to develop new content ideas
- Conceptualize and organize photo and video shoots along with mood boards and location logistics
- Working with Content Creation Director to ensure the production will be cost-effective by estimating and negotiating cost for the budget with the clients
- Work closely with the Social Media team to plan and create content
- Overseeing and ensuring the production is all set and will function smoothly as per the timeline
- Managing a content team of copywriters, graphic designers, photographers and videographers
- Sourcing suitable suppliers for the production. Building and maintaining good relations with them for future projects
- Stay up to date with trends for maximum engagement
- Oversee post-production of the content created such as editing the scenes in order or cutting out the unwanted shots, adding audios and graphics as needed
- Perform other duties as may be assigned

General Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communication, or any related field.

    • Collaborate closely with in-house and external content creators and agencies to produce engaging content that resonates with Calo’s values and audiences
    • Set high standards for design, storytelling, and brand experiences. Be the go-to person for creative approvals across multiple verticals (Calo Core, Retail, Kids, etc.)
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with local MP GMs, product teams, and food teams to align brand strategies with overall business goals
    • Partner with PR and media relations teams to ensure consistent messaging and strong brand representation in public channels
    • Introduce and champion systems, processes, and modes of cooperation that elevate our decentralized marketing model, ensuring alignment across all locations

The Content Marketing Associate will be responsible for creating high-quality content that supports our marketing strategy and enhances our brand presence across various platforms.

This role involves writing, editing, and optimizing various types of content, including blogs, newsletters, social media posts, and more, all while ensuring alignment with the company's tone and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and proofread engaging and clear content in both Arabic and English across various platforms including websites, blogs, social media, emails, and printed material
  • Research relevant industry topics and trends to ensure content is timely and effective
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to produce compelling, brand-aligned content
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and aligned with brand tone and guidelines
  • Manage and update the content calendar to ensure timely execution
  • Analyze content performance and derive insights to enhance future strategies
  • Support the execution of content-driven campaigns and marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, or a similar role
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both Arabic and English, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience writing content across various formats: social media posts, website content, printed materials, presentations, Product Email, PR, etc
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
  • Comfortable using content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about storytelling and creating content that connects with diverse audiences
  • Knowledge or interest in the travel industry is a plus
