Job Summary

The Marketing & Communications Manager will execute and oversee marketing, PR, and communications strategies to amplify the brand’s presence, engage guests, and contribute to revenue growth. This position will focus on

managing the daily functions of the communications team, supporting brand activation initiatives, and executing campaigns to achieve strategic objectives.

As a Marketing & Communications Manager, we rely on you to

  • Maximize brand presence on various channels (e.g. print, web, radio, television and social media).
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media and influential professionals.
  • Arrange interviews and press releases to promote our hotel and its products/services.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all advertising efforts.
  • Organize PR events to increase awareness of our company.
  • Storytelling of Marketing and PR Activities in writing and through highly creative visual content.
  • Manage sensitive issues to maintain the company’s good reputation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, manage PR campaigns, and secure positive media coverage.
  • Draft press releases, prepare spokespersons, and coordinate crisis communications with support from the Director.
  • Play an active role in coordinating crisis management.
  • Track and influence media coverage.
  • Report on PR campaigns’ results.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Creative Designing/Graphics or E-commerce from a recognized institution
  • 2 years Social Media & Graphics Designing experience

  • Coordinate with local influencers, media, and partners to maximize brand visibility.
  • Prepare internal and external communication materials for key stakeholders and guests.

Pre-Opening Coordination

  • Partner closely with pre-opening teams including Sales, Operations, and People & Culture to align marketing efforts with overall launch goals.
  • Support the development of promotional events, brand activations, and experiential campaigns in Saudi Arabia.
  • Track and report on campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead and mentor local marketing staff and external agencies to ensure delivery excellence.
  • Work directly with government entities, tourism boards, and local partners to secure necessary approvals and partnerships.
  • Act as the primary marketing liaison for the Saudi market during the pre-opening phase.

Qualifications

  • Saudi national (in line with local employment policies).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing and communications experience in luxury hospitality or related industries.
  • Deep understanding of the Saudi market, culture, media landscape, and consumer behavior.
  • Proven experience managing brand campaigns and PR activities in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong digital marketing skills, including social media strategy and content creation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional pre-opening environment.

Job Description

As the Marketing & Communications Manager for the pre-opening phase of SLS The Red Sea , you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering the brand’s marketing vision tailored to the Saudi market. You will lead all marketing, branding, public relations, and communication initiatives to create strong brand awareness and excitement ahead of the resort’s launch. This role requires a dynamic, culturally aware professional with a deep understanding of the Saudi luxury hospitality market and an ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning

  • Develop and execute a targeted marketing plan focused on the Saudi market, aligned with the global SLS brand standards and the unique positioning of The Red Sea resort.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand coherence.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and consumer trends specific to Saudi Arabia.
