- To report to the senior management on the status of the employees visa and other documentation of the organization and perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the management.

Job Purpose:
To manage all government-related documentation, public relations affairs, and ensure compliance with KSA labor, immigration, and commercial laws. The PRO will serve as the companys official representative for external government communications and handle all documentation in Arabic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all visa, Iqama, work permit, and labor card processes in accordance with Saudi labor and immigration regulations.
- Liaise and coordinate with government authorities such as the Ministry of Labor, Jawazat, GOSI, Chamber of Commerce, and MOFA.
- Submit, follow up, and collect all new employment visas and labor approvals.
- Manage the renewal, transfer, and cancellation of Iqamas, licenses, CR, and other legal documentation.
- Translate and submit Arabic documents to relevant ministries and ensure proper legal formats.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of KSA labor laws, Saudization regulations, and governmental policy changes.
- Support company-wide compliance efforts for audits, inspections, and legal renewals.
- Represent the company in labor disputes, court hearings, or government appointments when needed.
- Maintain proper records of all PRO work and provide regular reporting to management.
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelors Degree in any field.
- 35 years of experience in a similar PRO role within KSA (Riyadh experience preferred).
- Excellent knowledge of Saudi labor law, visa processes, GOSI, and government portals (Muqeem, Absher, Qiwa, etc.).
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Valid and transferable Iqama required.
- Must hold a valid Saudi driving license.
- Non-Saudi national with professional Arabic language skills.

Job Overview:
As a Public Relations Officer, you are responsible for managing all interactions with government entities in Saudi Arabia to ensure compliance and the timely completion of employee-related requirements. This includes overseeing visas, iqamas, immigration, labor office processes, and all necessary documentation, while ensuring hotel’s compliance with Saudi laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and manage relationship with Saudi government agencies (e.g., MHRSD, Jawazat, GOSI, Baladiyah, and the Ministry of Tourism, police) to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Ensure that all hotel licenses, permits, and operating documentation are renewed, accurate, and compliant with local laws and regulations.
- Monitor regulatory changes or amendments to Saudi laws, rules, regulations, forms, formats, and other procedures that might be required.
- Manage all residency permit processes (Iqamas), including issuance, renewal, transfers and cancellations.
- Support the onboarding process by facilitating work visas, medical tests, fingerprinting, and other required procedures.
- Ensures that all food handlers are having occupational health cards and ensures that expiring cards are renewed on time
- Complete exit/re-entry and final exit visa formalities for employees in a timely and compliant manner
- Handle exit/re-entry and final exit visa processes in a timely and compliant manner.
- Ensure that all relevant documents are communicated periodically to the immigration and labor offices for canceled or absconding employees.
- Operate and manage data entry on all government portals
- Maintain accurate and updated records of all government-related documentation and correspondence.
- Keep records of passports and visa expiry dates, inform team members in advance of passport expiry dates and extend/renew visas prior to expiry dates
- Prepare monthly compliance reports for management and audits.
- Act as the hotel’s point of contact for all inquiries regarding legal or administrative matters.
- Partner with People & Culture to meet Saudization goals and inspire opportunities for local talent in alignment with Vision 2030.
- Represent SLS The Red Sea during inspections, licensing reviews, and official site visits.
Qualifications

Job Description
As the Government Affairs Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the political and legislative landscape in Saudi Arabia to maximize business opportunities for NOVARTIS. You will provide thought leadership in public policy, drive a cross-divisional government affairs strategy, and lead government affairs activities. You will also manage short-term issues and crises with significant business and reputational impact. As a member of the country leadership team, you will be the functional leader for government affairs and key insight provider and contact person for government related topics and stakeholders.
About the RoleMajor Accountabilities:
Political and Legislative Engagement:
- Navigate and influence the Saudi political and legislative environment to support Novartis's strategic goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key government officials, policymakers, and stakeholders.
Business Opportunity Maximization:
- Align Novartis's business strategies with Saudi Arabia's Vision to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Thought Leadership in Public Policy:
- Provide evidence-based insights and innovative solutions to inform public policy.
- Collaborate with government, industry, academic institutions, industry partners, diplomatic partners, associations and other members of the healthcare ecosystem to establish Novartis as a leading voice in policy debates.
- Develop and implement a cohesive government affairs strategy that integrates and supports all NOVARTIS objectives through effective communication and collaboration across business units.
Crisis Management:
- Identify and manage short-term issues and crises with high business and reputational impact.
- Implement robust risk management frameworks and respond promptly and transparently to crises.
Stakeholder Management at the Highest Government Level:
- Engage with senior government officials and high-level stakeholders to advocate for Novartis's interests.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Macro and Geopolitical Factors:
- Monitor and analyze macroeconomic trends and geopolitical developments impacting Saudi Arabia.
- Develop strategies to navigate and leverage these factors to support Novartis' business objectives.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Foster collaboration within the country executive team and divisional government affairs staff.
- Maintain strategic alignment with overall business objectives and regularly interact with senior leaders.
