Penny.co is a fast growing scale-up delivering cloud-based procurement management for mid-market and enterprise customers. To enter our next stage of growth, we re building a search driven, campaign ready content engine. This brings the opportunity for a full-time content strategist to own Penny s SEO-led content strategy and production.

Role summary

In this role you ll plan, create and optimize all written (webpages, blogposts, case studies, campaigns, etc) and multimedia (video, webinars, etc) marketing assets that attract, educate and convert to relevant leads. You collaborate with product and sales teams to identify and create new relevant marketing content. You ll also own the content calendar, backlog and performance metrics (KPIs). You ll bring fresh campaign concepts to the table on a continuous basis and leverage AI/LLM workflows to increase output speed and search visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce SEO-optimized website copy, pillar pages, blog posts, case studies, ebooks, topic based campaigns and webinar scripts
  • Research keywords, structure topic clusters and implement on-page best practices for higher rankings and traffic growth
  • Propose and execute content for product/feature launches, ABM campaigns, nurture sequences and paid programs
  • Maintain a transparent content calendar with clear status, priorities and deadlines, reporting on traffic, engagement and pipeline KPIs
  • Test and adopt AI tools for outline generation, content refreshes, FAQ schema and internal-link automation
  • Audit existing assets, run A/B tests on headlines and CTAs and iterate based on analytics in order to improve Penny s content performance.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years writing for B2B SaaS audiences; able to translate product capabilities into customer value stories
  • BSc or MSc degree, with experience in creating high quality content and content management.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles, keyword research tools and content analytics platforms
  • Creative thinker who can suggest campaign angles and multi-asset content plans
  • Self-starter comfortable owning planning boards, dashboards and result reporting in a fast-moving environment
  • Familiar with AI writing assistants and eager to experiment with prompt engineering and programmatic SEO
  • Clear, concise writer with strong editing skills, preferably having a portfolio available to demonstrate previous success.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with procurement, supply-chain or finance software domains
  • Familiarity with CMS / Content platforms (in particular HubSpot and WordPress)
  • Knowledge of programmatic or data-driven SEO strategies
  • Skilled in scripting or hosting webinars, podcasts or video tutorials
  • Basic design skills to independently design assets that align with our brand guidelines.
  • Background in or enthusiasm for working in a scale-up or early-stage company environment.
  • Familiarity with (or based in) the GCC region (our offices are based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain)

ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Marketing Strategy, Account Director, reporting into the Head of Marketing Strategy – KSA, will play a leading role in the successful delivery of work for the agency’s marketing clients in KSA. Including strategy development and implementation, key external stakeholder relations and management of multiple project workstreams.

The role requires a passion for sport, and understanding and experience of the sports industry, developing cross-channel marketing campaigns, including brand development, content generation, social media management and PR & Communications is required. The Marketing Strategy, Account Director should also have a talent for developing both campaign strategy and creative ideas and be comfortable working on multiple projects, often with tight deadlines.


KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Brand and campaign development
  • Work with the creative department to develop the look and feel of new campaigns
  • Develop campaign strategies, ensuring consideration of target audiences, identifying appropriate tactics and channels to engage (and where necessary ‘convert’)
  • Co-ordinate a team to ensure that key workstreams are activated and delivered in keeping with pre-agreed timelines
  • Social Media and content
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of content calendars across key platforms
  • Work with internal and external content creators to deliver high-quality assets (video, static, reels, stories, etc.)
  • Ensure social media engagement, follower growth, and performance metrics align with campaign goals

  • Execute day-to-day editing and publication of content across client digital ecosystems, including web and mobile, on a Content Management System (CMS).
  • Serve as a gatekeeper to ensure that content meets established standards before publication.
  • Debug pages and address issues such as broken links or images.

Who We’re Looking For

Join our team as the Digital Content Manager – Sitecore Publisher , where you will play a pivotal role in executing VML's enterprise digital content strategy to elevate our clients' efforts and aspirations. In this dynamic position, you will lead the charge in overseeing and implementing the day-to-day editing and publication of content across various client digital ecosystems, encompassing web, mobile, and social environments. Your responsibilities will extend to organizing and maintaining content, providing crucial technical support, and managing website constituents. The position holds the key responsibility of ensuring unwavering consistency with the website vision and style guide, contributing to the overall success of our digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and implement VML's enterprise digital content strategy to align with client objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into engaging digital content layouts on websites and other digital platforms.
  • Execute day-to-day editing and publication of content across client digital ecosystems, including web and mobile, on a Content Management System (CMS).
  • Serve as a gatekeeper to ensure that content meets established standards before publication.
  • Test websites on various devices (desktop, tablet, and mobile), browsers, and operating systems to ensure optimal display and functionality.
  • Debug pages and address issues such as broken links or images.
  • Collaborate with individual business leads to support digital publishing needs for client work.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager in managing stakeholder expectations and communication effectively, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Raise tickets and communicate effectively with technical teams/IT support when necessary.
  • Maintain a well-organized, indexed content archive.
  • Ensure compliance with branding and style guides, maintaining consistent copy guidelines for every client.
  • Work strategically to meet business goals and employ available tools for efficient content updates.
  • Anticipate problems and proactively generate solutions to enhance the overall digital content publishing process.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Proficient in Sitecore CMS; experience in other Content Management Systems is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of website management with expertise in web layout using HTML/CSS.
  • Excellent written and verbal English and Arabic communication, including strong editing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and data best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in content across various channels.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Presence in KSA / willing to relocate.
