Job Summary: We are starting a Heavy Machinery and Equipment business and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee our equipment management operations. This role will involve managing the purchase and rental of heavy machinery, ensuring efficient use and maintenance of equipment, and complying with all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in equipment management, import/export, and technical knowledge of heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the purchase and rental of heavy machinery and equipment.
Track equipment inventory and usage, ensuring all assets are accounted for.
Implement and manage an effective check-in/check-out system for equipment.
Plan and schedule equipment maintenance, ensuring all machinery is in optimal working condition.
Train employees on the proper use and safety protocols for equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Manage import/export operations related to heavy machinery and equipment.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient use of resources.
Provide reports and updates to senior management regarding equipment usage, costs, and performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience in equipment management or a related role.
Proven experience in import/export of heavy machinery.
In-depth knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and technical operations.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage equipment resources efficiently.

Tecnimont and Tecnimont Arabia Limited have been awarded two lump-sum turn-key EPC contracts related to a petrochemical expansion at the SATORP Refinery (a JV composed of Saudi Aramco and Total Energies), in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The overall value of the contracts is approximately USD 2 billion. The contracts relate to the execution of two packages of the complex, namely the “Derivatives Units” package - which includes a butadiene extraction unit, an olefin extraction unit, a methyl tert-butyl ether unit, a butadiene selective hydrogenation unit, a 2nd stage pygas hydrogenation unit and benzene & toluene extraction unit - and the “High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) & Logistic Area” package, which includes two polyethylene units and the relevant product logistic facilities.
The project’s scope of work entails complete engineering services, equipment and material supply, construction activities, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, and shall have a duration of approximately 4 years.
- The Construction Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for the coordination of Mechanical Construction for Rotating Equipment activities through the Construction Rotating Equipment Supervisors (PIS)
Duties and responsibilities
- He has direct responsibility on management of Mechanical Subcontractor(s) for Rotating Equipment.
- He will ensure that their performances are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality and cost, and he will coordinate all necessary recovery actions whenever detect deviation from schedule or specifications under the guidance of Construction manager.
- He ensures the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities.
- He directly participates to the HSE activities at site as defined for his position in the Site HSE plan and related procedures.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- A university Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience
- Relevant experience in construction/modernization of oil & gas /industrial sector/ EPC projects large refinery plants.
- 8-year experience on Rotating Equipment's.
- Experience working on Main Contractor side.
- Previous approval from KSA clients will be considered an advantage for further evaluation.

- Excellent IT and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail, excellent communications skills.
- Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
