A fleet manager is a logistics expert and is usually employed in the transportation sector. The job requires using a fleet tracking system to ensure maximum operational efficiency of the company. They spearhead the fleet management workflow, to improve strategies, policies, and procedures, for the fleet of vehicles that are employed by the company. From recruiting certified quality drivers to maintaining all the documents and records of the fleet or vehicle, fleet management as a profession is multi-faceted in nature. The role requires great organisational and quantitative skills.
Responsibilities- Manage the A-Z of the logistics for the fleet, from GPS tracking for fleet trucks to fleet administration and servicing of the carriers or vehicles
- Conduct periodic surveys and inspections of the vehicles and ensure that they are up to par to maximise productivity
- Monitor the compliance, quality control and assurance standards for all areas of fleet management
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all the areas of fleet activities
- Schedule regular vehicle management and maintenance checkups
- Manage the drivers and their job roles, and ensure that they stick to the rules and regulations set in place by the company
- Ensure maximum fuel efficiency through effective fuel management, which in turn increases the profits of the business
- Assist in the recruitment and management of drivers
- Track and update the vehicle management system
- Monitor the documentation and records of the vehicles, especially areas related to the inspections, certifications, and servicing
- Ensure optimal vehicle management by conducting proper repairs of the fleet

- Provide consultation to Company personnel and others concerning vehicle maintenance, repair, and procurement operations, projects, and activities; respond to inquiries, resolve issues and conflicts and provide detailed and technical information regarding related laws, codes, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Direct and participate in the preparation and maintenance of a variety of narrative and statistical reports, records, and files related to vehicles, maintenance, repairs, projects, mileage, depreciation, financial activity, and assigned duties
- Develop and prepare the annual preliminary budget for vehicle maintenance, repair, operation, servicing, and procurement functions; analyze and review budgetary and financial data; control and authorize expenditures in accordance with established limitations
- Communicate with administrators, personnel, and outside organizations to coordinate activities and programs, resolve issues and conflicts, and exchange information
Required Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in business administration, Mechanical Engineering/Automotive, Technical automotive education or related field. (Job-related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.)

We are looking for a Fleet & Office Services Manager to manage company fleet, assets and office services across all locations. You’ll handle purchasing, deliveries, supplier coordination, and ensure smooth office operations. The role also includes implementing procedures, supporting sourcing, and preparing reports.

The Senior Manager – Fleet Planning will contribute expertise to improve route profitability and achieve commercial objectives, including developing and implementing fleet strategies aligned with the company's vision.
General Activities:- Evaluate, plan, and determine the airline's short- and long-term fleet requirements.
- Conduct detailed studies of candidate aircraft covering technical, performance, economic, and financial analyses, providing recommendations.
- Manage aircraft phase-in and phase-out, leasing, purchasing, and selling activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturers, owners, financiers, and third parties on negotiations and documentation for aircraft transactions.
