Job Description
- Gathers and analyzes data on product plans and project objectives. Provides tracking, status reports, and logistics plans to support and ensure distribution and delivery commitments for manufacturing or servicing of products, equipment, and systems.
- Develops policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
- Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors, inventory, and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve or improve desired results.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contributes to and may lead the planning and implementation of large programs in the function and regularly interfaces with senior management and executive leadership.
- Plays a role in overall functional strategic planning.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree and typically 8+ years of related professional experience. An advanced degree may be preferred at this level. Non-degreed incumbents must meet equivalency guidelines established for designated job family.

- Act as the primary contact for governmental bodies regarding commodity quality and quantity.
- Maintain control and documentation of stock throughout the logistics process.
- Manage daily operations and provide regular movement reports.
- Conduct quarterly physical inventory counts and coordinate with other Bunge KSA departments.
- Identify and secure optimal storage solutions to prevent demurrage issues and storage costs.

Your day at NTT DATA
The Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for providing detailed technical support relating to the organization’s supply chain solutions and its optimization, processes, and use of resources.
The primary objective of this role is to achieve cost benefits, delivery reliability and customer satisfaction through the best possible administration of solutions (flow of material, value, information).
This role participates in the execution of the logistics and supply chain strategy that defines the connection and combination of activities and functions throughout the value chain including B2B integration.
What You'll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures the necessary processes and systems exist for the buying team to execute the everyday activities.
- Ensures the flow of materials, products, services and information.
- Engages with vendors and clients and intervene when queries from these stakeholders are escalated.
- Remains involved with the buying process by participating in the delivery of advanced components of the process including the final resolution of problems and queries.
- Ensures the necessary processes are in place to ensure continuous client satisfaction.
- Participate in the pre-sales processes and/or successes to ensure growth within the assigned portfolio.
- Works closely with internal stakeholders to create the best solution design for the client and develop procedures and systems for commercial supply chain projects ensuring commercial readiness.
- Works on strategic projects that identify risks to supply chain delivery and drive the implementation of appropriate solutions.
- Assists with any other relevant task as requested by management.
- Vendor order placements and follow-ups
- Following up logistics company's to ensure the timely HW receipt based on the project requirement
- Display good attention to detail and the ability to manage work processes.
- Possess good knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures.
- Good client service orientation and impeccable relationship building skills.
- Display an analytical orientation and continually identify mechanisms for improved service delivery.
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess an understanding of the client’s business needs and the associated company delivery model.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management or Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant Supply Chain and Logistics certification preferred.
- Seasoned experience relevant to the field within a large scale technology services environment.
- Seasoned experience in service delivery within a supply chain environment.

Execute and support daily transportation operations for both in-house and outsourced fleets. Ensure timely shipment planning, proper documentation, and accurate invoicing while monitoring compliance, performance, and cost efficiency across logistics activities.
Key Accountability AreasFleet Management
• Manage daily operations of the in-house fleet and coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) for timely dispatch and delivery.
• Monitor fleet utilization, optimize routing and truck capacity.
• Maintain up-to-date records including GPS tracking logs and driver attendance.
Transportation Coordination
• Plan and schedule shipments according to business priorities and service level agreements.
• Assign shipments to carriers based on availability, cost, and performance criteria.
Proof of Delivery (POD)
• Oversee the full POD process to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
• Validate delivery records and follow up on any missing or disputed PODs.
Invoicing & Claims
• Verify transporter invoices against agreed pricing and completed delivery records.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
• Investigate and resolve any land transportation claims or delivery discrepancies.
Compliance & Reporting
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with internal policies and relevant legal regulations.
• Prepare periodic reports on fleet performance, transporter KPIs, and cost metrics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing logistics efficiency and service quality.

Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Problem-Solving:
- Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
