Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance Planning & Execution: Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all foundry and casting equipment, including furnaces, molding machines, cranes, conveyors, and machining tools. Schedule and supervise daily maintenance activities to ensure minimal production interruptions. Oversee breakdown maintenance and coordinate emergency repairs promptly.
  2. Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead and manage the maintenance team including technicians, electricians, and mechanics. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and safety awareness. Conduct performance evaluations and maintain a motivated workforce.

  6. Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of maintenance experience in heavy industry or foundry operations, with 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of steel foundry and casting equipment maintenance.
  • Experience with preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies.

About The Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the community's functionality by managing resources efficiently and effectively.   • Create SOPs and training programs for operations staff to handle maintenance emergencies (e.g., evacuations, fires, no water, no heat) with clear response procedures.
Ideal Background
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance or electrical engineering, preferably in residential compounds, hotels, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of civil work, including mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, fire alarm systems, columns, and walls.
  • Experience managing relationships with outsourced companies.
  • Experience with Google Chrome and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Proficiency in English, with working knowledge of Arabic.

Tahwil is the largest hazardous waste incineration plant in Saudi Arabia, which includes the production of steam to industrial players, using state of the art technology and fully in compliance with environmental regulations to provide a sustainable waste disposal route to the local industry.   • Planify, organize, coordinate and manage operation activities for appropriate waste offloading, storage and preparation, incineration of hazardous waste in compliance to all levels ofHealthand Safety standards, Environmental regulations and the Company policies and procedures.
  • Support the Managing Director to settle in, review the operation and maintenance organization, implement and/or upgrade the procedures, and participate in the employee recruitment for the staff under his management.
  • Manage and lead preparation of master work schedules to reflect treatment/disposal capacities, available manpower, delivery dates of waste treatment, etc.
  • Enforce all compliance, health and safety, and other relevant compliance issues in accordance with regulatory policies.
  • Develop and maintain methods of communication on schedule fulfillment, delays, and/or changes in incineration and maintenance operations.
  • Lead and supervise operation and maintenance workforce; set priorities to operation & maintenance personnel, ensuring effective use of employees to maximize daily/weekly output to meet operational objectives.
  • Establish the operation and maintenance budgets and implement controls to keep expenditures within previously approved budgetary limitations.
  • Participate in the development of the assets, operations and maintenance annual budget; participate in forecasting funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitor, approve and optimize expenditures; implement adjustments.
  • Participate actively in the implementation of all asset upgrade works that are defined by the Managing Director with Veolia Business Support Teams to comply with Veolia standards. It includes the delivery of engineering study, the scope of works, BOQ, tender documents and award, work supervision, commissioning.
  • Coordinate and/or provide training programs to ensure a high level of skill and proficiency among employees supervised and to conform with the Company health and safety guidelines as well as all environmental regulations.
  • Prepare, weekly, and monthly operating reports.
  • Ensure systems are in place for proper planning for all preventative maintenance activities to minimize unexpected shutdowns.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Environmental
  • Eight to ten (8-10) years minimum experience in hazardous waste or chemical processing industry with managerial and production operation required .
  • Hazardous Waste experience with Incineration performing a broad range of operational and maintenance planning activities.

Aerial Access is seeking a strategic and experienced National Maintenance Manager to lead the performance and operations of our workshops across Australia. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring our fleet of trucks, elevated work platforms (EWPs), and specialised plant equipment is maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency.

The role :

In this role, you will oversee all state-based workshops, ensuring maintenance operations are aligned with contractual service agreements and schedules. Leading a team of State Maintenance Managers and workshop staff, you will drive excellence in service delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement.

With more than 650 pieces of equipment , our Fleet Services Division is the engine room of our operations. Our major maintenance depots in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Hobart are critical to supporting our national vegetation management operations. These workshops are staffed by over 30 skilled mechanics , who work collaboratively to ensure our fleet is always ready to meet the needs of our business and the communities we serve.

In this role, you will :

  • Champion effective communication and provide leadership, guidance, and support to State Maintenance Managers.
  • Ensure all fleet vehicles and equipment are serviced and maintained in line with schedules and compliance requirements.
  • Uphold high standards of workmanship, focusing on quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular fleet audits and ensure timely implementation of remedial actions.
  • Identify and implement best practices across all workshop operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with OHS, environmental legislation, and company policies.
  • Maintain optimal workshop resources – including tools, equipment, and personnel.
  • Monitor workshop performance to ensure timely, safe, and efficient service delivery.
  • Provide expert technical support to mechanics and workshop managers.
  • Assist in fleet procurement, analysis, and retirement planning in collaboration with the National Fleet Manager.
  • Negotiate favourable terms with preferred suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by the National Fleet Manager.

What you will need :

  • MR Drivers licence required, HR licence desirable
  • Minimum 5 years managing medium to large workshop.
  • Mechanical qualification (Cert III Minimum in Plant Operations or Heavy Diesel)
  • Hold a current NSW Heavy Vehicle Inspectors licence
  • Experience in general fleet Maintenance.
  • A highly motivated, positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Competent with the Microsoft Office Suite - particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Great, but not essential :

  • Experience with Maintenance software highly desirable.
  • Experience with EWP maintenance requirements highly desirable
  • Hydraulics experience desired.
  • Experience with Isuzu, Hino, Mercedes, Mitsubishi Volvo desirable but not essential.
