The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all maintenance activities to ensure reliable operation of machinery and equipment in the steel foundry and iron casting facility.

This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minimizing downtime to support continuous production and safety standards.

  • Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning & Execution

Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all foundry and casting equipment, including furnaces, molding machines, cranes, conveyors, and machining tools.

Schedule and supervise daily maintenance activities to ensure minimal production interruptions.

Oversee breakdown maintenance and coordinate emergency repairs promptly.

Team Leadership & Supervision

Lead and manage the maintenance team including technicians, electricians, and mechanics.

Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and safety awareness.

Conduct performance evaluations and maintain a motivated workforce.

Equipment Reliability & Performance

  • Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.

    Minimum 7 years of maintenance experience in heavy industry or foundry operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

    Strong knowledge of steel foundry and casting equipment maintenance.

    Experience with preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies.

    Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and ERP software.

    As A Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for the effective management of all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel, including energy conservation.

    You are also responsible for the development of the Engineering Team and staying abreast of compliance regulations and procedures in the field of Engineering, as required for hotel standards.

    Specifically, a Chief Engineer will perform the following tasks to the highest standards

    The Opportunity

    The Maintenance Manager manages all maintenance activities for service level agreements in dedicated airports.

    You will make an impact by….

    • Directs the maintenance and operational performance of the AGL and A-VDGS infrastructure of the airport to ensure compliance with the contract specifications and to meet ICAO standards
    • Represents ADBSG in regular review meetings with the client and establishes effective working relationships with key personnel
    • Communicates the key elements of the contract (deliverables, measures and penalties) to the AGL Maintenance team and ensures that appropriate checks, supervision, reports and controls are implemented
    • Ensures that the ADBSG maintenance team has the required spare parts stock and anticipates future requirements
    • Identifies the providers and arranges special testing schedules for the AGL and A-VDGS infrastructure at the airport, Thermal Imaging tests and the Annual AGL Audit
    • Supervises the delivery of ‘custodial services’ (cleaning and maintenance of buildings and surrounding areas)
    • Procedures and documentation
    • Establishes and maintains Standard Operating Procedures for all maintenance activities.
    • Ensures appropriate document management procedures are implemented to fulfill the contract requirement.
    • Defines and monitors the Quality Control Plan, including undertaking routine audits.
    • Defines and monitors the HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures and plan, including undertaking risk assessments and reviews.
    • Liaises and coordinates with interface groups to achieve goals and objectives
    • The client and associated bodies.
    • Manages the resources of the ADBSG maintenance team, including establishing appropriate salary levels, setting the standards of team performance and behaviour, identifying and rewarding high performance, proactively managing poor performance issues.
    • Motivates key personnel within the ADBSG maintenance team and ensures that there is a healthy team spirit and team members show respect for all cultures, religion, nationality and other personal/social considerations
    • Plans, advises and recommends on personnel training and development to ensure the maintenance function is staffed with individuals of the required skills and competencies.
    • Ensures that there are adequate succession planning and provision of skills and people to meet future demands.
    • Develops the KPIs and performance objectives for all roles within the ADBSG maintenance team, ensuring a close connection to the performance measures and penalties within the contract.
    • Ensures that a Safe working culture is firmly embedded within the ADBSG Maintenance team and delivers continued safety improvements.
    • Reporting & Performance
    • Presents regular Contract Management reports to the client and fulfills the documentation and reporting requirements contained in the contract schedules
    • Presents regular Management reports to ADBSG, including budgets, forecasts and risk assessments
    • Develops internal Key Performance Indicators to ensure an effective performance of maintenance functions.
    • Identifies opportunities for performance improvement.

    The Opportunity

    The Maintenance Manager manages all maintenance activities for service level agreements in dedicated airports.

    You will make an impact by .

    • Directs the maintenance and operational performance of the AGL and A-VDGS infrastructure of the airport to ensure compliance with the contract specifications and to meet ICAO standards
    • Represents ADBSG in regular review meetings with the client and establishes effective working relationships with key personnel
    • Communicates the key elements of the contract (deliverables, measures and penalties) to the AGL Maintenance team and ensures that appropriate checks, supervision, reports and controls are implemented
    • Ensures that the ADBSG maintenance team has the required spare parts stock and anticipates future requirements
    • Identifies the providers and arranges special testing schedules for the AGL and A-VDGS infrastructure at the airport, Thermal Imaging tests and the Annual AGL Audit
    • Supervises the delivery of 'custodial services' (cleaning and maintenance of buildings and surrounding areas)
    • Procedures and documentation
    • Establishes and maintains Standard Operating Procedures for all maintenance activities.
    • Ensures appropriate document management procedures are implemented to fulfill the contract requirement.
    • Defines and monitors the Quality Control Plan, including undertaking routine audits.
    • Defines and monitors the HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures and plan, including undertaking risk assessments and reviews.
    • Liaises and coordinates with interface groups to achieve goals and objectives
    • The client and associated bodies.
    • Manages the resources of the ADBSG maintenance team, including establishing appropriate salary levels, setting the standards of team performance and behaviour, identifying and rewarding high performance, proactively managing poor performance issues.
    • Motivates key personnel within the ADBSG maintenance team and ensures that there is a healthy team spirit and team members show respect for all cultures, religion, nationality and other personal/social considerations
    • Plans, advises and recommends on personnel training and development to ensure the maintenance function is staffed with individuals of the required skills and competencies.
    • Ensures that there are adequate succession planning and provision of skills and people to meet future demands.
    • Develops the KPIs and performance objectives for all roles within the ADBSG maintenance team, ensuring a close connection to the performance measures and penalties within the contract.
    • Ensures that a Safe working culture is firmly embedded within the ADBSG Maintenance team and delivers continued safety improvements.
    • Reporting & Performance
    • Presents regular Contract Management reports to the client and fulfills the documentation and reporting requirements contained in the contract schedules
    • Presents regular Management reports to ADBSG, including budgets, forecasts and risk assessments
    • Develops internal Key Performance Indicators to ensure an effective performance of maintenance functions.
    • Identifies opportunities for performance improvement.

      We are currently considering candidates with aviation, other transportation or complex public accessible building project experience to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh.

      Job Summary:

      The O&M Manager will provide expert O&M input and guidance for the Airport Terminal buildings on all O&M related activities required to support the project from contract development and design through to Testing & Commissioning, and handover of the project. The O&M Manager is required to provide early input in contractual, technical and management oversight of activities relating to the planning, development, implementation and delivery of the O&M scope of work and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

      From the early project phases the O&M Manager will work collaboratively with the client, existing and/or future terminal operators, design/delivery contractors, regulating agencies, third parties and other stakeholders to develop the processes, procedures and required deliverables to govern O&M and related functions. Outputs of this work will inform the contract terms and conditions for the design/delivery agreements.

      The O&M Manager is responsible for developing and executing the O&M program. The individual provides O&M and operational readiness oversight to the various project teams to ensure that all required activities and deliverables are completed and accepted, and the documentation compiled and turned over.

      The O&M Manager must be able to perform duties under minimal direction by management and ensure that the O&M and operational readiness plans and procedures developed are implemented and complied to.

      Major Responsibilities:
      • Support the identification, development, implementation, and management of the O&M strategies, plans and procedures, including temporary operations and pre-operational O&M plans and activities.
      • Lead the development and implementation of an integrated O&M schedule for the project which incorporates the necessary requirements, logic, and time frames required for training to support the handover process and transfer of the airport.
      • Ensure all O&M training requirements are identified and the required training delivered.
      • Undertake reviews of contractor documentation.
      • Organise and lead a team to implement the programs and processes developed and oversee the contractors’ performance.
      • Engage with the regulatory approval process to understand expectations and the required involvement of authorities so that appropriate measures are defined in governing programs and procedures associated with O&M.
      • Identify risk to O&M activities ensuring risk mitigations are implemented.
      • Develop a system for measuring and reporting overall O&M scope status.
      • Develop effective relationships with each contractor’s O&M managers to establish a collaborative and supportive environment for knowledge and best practice sharing.
      • Develop the O&M process required to ensure the seamless handover of assets and information from contractors to the end user, in collaboration with the Asset Handover Manager.
      • Direct the formulation of recommended policies, procedures, plans and programs for the O&M department, commensurate with the overall project scope of work.
      • Provide expertise to support O&M activities relating to maintenance strategies, plans, spare and consumable parts and warranty management.
      • Direct and conduct reviews to assure readiness to safely execute major events and milestones.
      • Ensure system and operational safety requirements are adequately developed and implemented in relation to O&M.
      • Participate in project planning sessions to provide technical guidance information.
      • Participate, as required, in engineering and construction reviews, management reviews and client negotiations, providing counsel and information about the projects’ O&M scope.
      Education and Experience Requirements:
      • Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field with minimum 20 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 23 years progressive experience relevant to the job duties.
      • Experience of O&M in airport terminals or related type of industry.
      • Experience in managing the O&M scope for one or more very large or complex aviation or similar projects.
      Required Knowledge and Skills:
      • Experience in leading teams.
      • Experience/understanding of construction processes and concepts, supervision, and the handover of projects.
      • Experience of the general tools/deliverables associated with successful project O&M activities.
      • Knowledge of the typical industry contractor/subcontractor’s O&M responsibilities contained in contractor’s documents.
      • Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, and design criteria related to O&M.
      • Ability to work on multiple project activities simultaneously.
      • Computer literate in MS Office suite including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
      • Familiarity with using Electronic Document Management Systems and the various reporting tools.
      • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
      • Good collaboration and interpersonal skills.
      • Skill in negotiation for dealing with clients.

    Inspire selection are working on behalf of an MEP construction company with operations based in Jeddah. Due to continuous growth throughout KSA, they have an opening for a Maintenance Manager/Technical Manager to manage their successful FM/MEP division.


    Reporting to the director of operations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

    1. Planning, organizing and supervising the facilities maintenance operations with the Operations team, including supervisory responsibilities for hiring and disciplinary actions.
    2. Managing the maintenance of HVAC systems across 250 contracts throughout KSA.
    3. Coordinates, assigns, directs daily, weekly, monthly, yearly schedules.
    4. Establishes job priorities and time frames for Maintenance Staff.
    5. Responsible for installation or repair of Electrical / HVAC systems.
    6. Monitors completion of job assignments through frequent field observation and inspections to ensure compliance with standards and instruction and revises instructions and time frames as necessary.
    7. Responsible for training employees on equipment, task procedures, work standards and proper safety procedures.
    8. Serves as safety representative, including coordination of safety training needs, assisting with safety audits, facilitating compliance with standards and maintaining related safety records.
    9. Schedules and supervises maintenance activities, including work performed by contractors or subcontractors.

    Minimum Requirements:

    1. At least 5 - 10 years experience in a similar type role.
    2. HVAC experience is a must.
    3. Must have Middle East experience.
    4. Will have been educated in a western college or university.
    5. Strong management experience.
    6. Budgetary control.
    7. Contract Management.
    8. Commercial awareness.
