Responsibilities
The Communications Specialist is responsible forsupporting C4I systems such as NAVMACS, HF, UHF, and VHF Radios and Antennas, Tactical Data Links (Link-11, 16, 22), CENTRIXS, Network Communications, SATCOM, or ADSI.This role requirs experience in military operations or related fields, with a strong focus on technical proficiency, analytical skills, and effective communication. The specialist will develop and implement emergency response plans, oversee surveillance systems, and provide expert guidance on operational readiness to support mission objectives.
Evaluate information from command centers and prepare high-level military and government reports as needed.
Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems to maintain situational awareness.
Provide technical information and advice on capabilities, systems integration, and operational readiness.
Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure mission success.
Analyze and assess system performance to recommend enhancements and upgrades.
Qualifications
Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
