- Serves as the primary escalation point for key accounts, managing critical issues promptly while maintaining strong relationships.
- Acts as a mentor and coach to junior account managers, sharing expertise and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensures compliance with Philips' business processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, safeguarding the company's reputation.

Job Summary :
The Business Development Manager (Consumer) is responsible for driving sales growth and increasing market share within the modern retail channel in the KSA. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing relationships with key accounts, and leading a team of area sales managers and sales representatives to achieve revenue targets and margin efficiencies. The role will also require the ability to manage sellout, monitor inventory levels, and develop joint business plans with key accounts in the country.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase sales revenue and market share within the modern retail channel in the KSA.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key accounts/retailers/distributors.
- Manage key customer relationships, including negotiations, contract management, and ongoing account management.
- Lead a team of sales representatives, setting targets and managing performance to achieve revenue targets.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the Business Manager, highlighting key achievements, opportunities, and challenges.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure effective sales execution.
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, providing insights and recommendations to the Business Manager.
- Manage sellout and inventory levels, ensuring optimal product availability and minimizing stockouts.
- Develop joint business plans with key accounts, identifying opportunities to grow the business and deliver mutual value.
- Negotiate & implement product launch, category activation, instore events across KSA.
- Track performance metrics (sales, market penetration, ROI) and prepare regular business reports.
Key Skills :
- Proven track record of success in modern channel sales within the KSA.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Strategic thinker, able to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives.
- Results-driven, with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to drive sales decisions.
- Strong key account management skills, with experience managing large and complex accounts.
- Ability to understand and anticipate customer needs and develop customized solutions to meet those needs.
- Experience in sellout management and inventory control.

Qualifications :
- Arabic speaker preferred, holding a bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in modern channel sales within the KSA.
- Experience managing a sales team and driving sales growth.
- Strong understanding of the KSA market and modern retail channels.

About the Role:
