Job Title: Public Health Consultant

Department : Infection Control

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties & Responsibilities:

• • Provide expert consultations in the field of Community Public Health.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of CPH programs and interventions.
  • Contribute to public health surveillance activities, data analysis, and interpretation.
  • Support the development and revision of CPH guidelines, protocols, and policies.
  • Participate in and lead public health research projects.
  • Mentor and provide training to junior public health professionals and trainees.
  • Collaborate with national and international stakeholders to improve public health outcomes.
  • Participate in health promotion and disease prevention campaigns.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
  • Perform any other duties within the scope of the role as assigned by the supervisor.
• Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.
• Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
• Performs special procedures as privileged.
• Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
• Completion of required period of training in Public Health
• Certified in Infection Control & Prevention
• Swedish, German, DES, CCT, Ireland, UK,American /European Board Certification or equivalent.
• Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
• A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
• Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

• Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in Public Health.
• A registered member of the Saudi Board Council

Language

• Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.

• Experience in hospitals, hotels, catering, or third-party auditing (quality, health, environment, compliance).

Additional Requirements:

• Post-education in biochemistry, food microbiology, food science/technology, or environmental/public health studies.
• Good understanding of food safety and quality assurance legislation and practices.
• Fluent in English (oral and written); bilingual is an asset.
• Good communication and personal skills.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Provide onsite clinical applications training to users of GE HealthCare equipment in a specific modality area.
2. Conduct high-quality application training at customer sites to ensure safe and effective use of GE HealthCare equipment, optimizing image quality and productivity.
3. Maintain satisfactory after-sale relationships and develop long-term customer relationships, identifying and capitalizing on immediate customer needs.
4. Promote unique differentiators based on customer's clinical needs, competition, values, and sought benefits.
5. Continuously develop and improve a network of key opinion leaders within the assigned territory.
6. Support Trade shows, Workshops, Show sites, and Customer visits.
7. Support the deployment of digital tools and embrace the digital transformation of clinical education.
8. Document trainings, site visits, and customer interactions as per local protocols.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Education: Radiography degree
2. 0 to 2 years practical experience in the considered imaging modality.
3. Curiosity and passion for medical products and technology.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills, including good communication skills.
5. Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take necessary actions.
6. Team-oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset.
7. Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing work environments.
8. Ability to travel and be at customer sites up to 80% of the working time (annual average).
9. Teaching skills and experience.
10. Empathy and customer-centric mindset.
11. Fluent in English.
12. Readiness to have fixed-term contract for 1 year.
