Primary Duties: Implements inspection activities in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and Inspection / Test Procedures for inspection Maintains a record of the job specification and/or acceptance criteria of the items they cover for inspection. Check and ensure that the measuring test instruments being used during test and inspection operations are properly calibrated with valid certificates and stickers. Material receiving inspections against the P.O, Delivery Note, IFC drawings, and MTCs. Maintains approved QC Checklist forms to be used during inspection. Ensures that all aspects of quality control in relation to contract documents are identified and observed. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the 2015 version of ISO 9001 QMS requirements, engineering discipline drawings, standards, material specifications, construction methods, and QC inspection and test procedures. Direct work experience and demonstrated a thorough knowledge of engineering codes and standards. He should be able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the National Electric Code/NFPA 70, IEC, or equivalent standards for HV equipment. Updates himself of File Record of Documentation Inspection covering the following: Document Control or issues of drawings, specifications, etc. Materials Receiving Inspection and Vendor Non-Conformance. Storage and Maintenance covering reports on handing, storage, and preservation. Secondary Duties: Reports to QC Supervisor E&I and is responsible for the discharge of his duties and responsibilities as QC Inspector along with his area discipline assignment.
