Role ObjectiveExpand the client’s desalination chemicals business across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) by leading sales strategies, building strong market partnerships, and managing distributor networks.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales growth of desalination chemicals throughout the MENA region.
- Develop and execute account- and country-specific strategies targeting Thermal and RO desalination plants.
- Build and manage relationships with public utilities, procurement agencies, and engineering consultants.
- Evaluate, appoint, and support distributors to ensure effective market reach and customer service.
- Provide technical documentation, product samples, and application guidance to partners and customers.
- Work closely with R&D and product teams to align solutions with local market requirements.
- Monitor regional regulatory developments and tender announcements to develop competitive bid strategies.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and support budgeting and planning processes.
- Represent the client at key trade shows, industry events, and conferences across the region.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of B2B sales experience in water treatment or specialty chemicals, ideally within desalination or industrial water management sectors.

- Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
Ensure capacity and availability of the client's desalinated water requirements (as per RAWECPetroRabigh
Agreement) through system monitoring and efficient operation of the department's
facilities.
Effectively lead the shift team and coordinate with other units concerned.
Ensure that all Operators are following the operation procedures.
Prepare, review update, and identify the procedures /Work instruction which are not yet approved or
prepared.
Monitor and prepare daily, weekly and monthly activities.
Organize shift activities to ensure that there is sufficient manpower at all times (including supports,
vacation, etc.).
Review and check the daily plant status, equipment RO status report, weekly delivery plant
requirement, MFC weekly replacement schedule.
Generate shift turn report equipment, equipment availability report, equipment status report, alarm
summary report.
Shift staff attendance report to be prepared and circulate to concerned person.
Plan weekly chemical delivery required and scheduled with procurement.
RO chemical cleaning to be scheduled and carried out as per the procedure.
Monthly MCF replacement schedule to be prepared and adhere for replacement.
To take care for day to day waste disposal, walk through checks in the plant and keep proper good
housekeeping.
Assist the plant management in yearly appraisal of operation staff.
Review the daily report and shift supervisor log book, follow with maintenance all equipment are under
maintenance insure plant availability is 100%.
Review the daily report and shift log book and follow the maintenance required for all equipment’s and
ensure 100 % plant availability.
Adhere the 0% work permit infraction.
Follow highest standard of safety in work permit, LOTO and required risk assessment for the activities.
Report nearmiss, unsafe condition and unsafe act and also encourage shift team to report for the
same.
Conduct tool box talk with 100% adherence and effectiveness.
Prepare weekly inspection report, activities report and equipment status report.
Log and report any plant abnormalities to management and recommended solution.
Ensure all operation staff are well knowledgeable about the plant operation, request training if needed,
carry out training of new operator ensure they are well informed about the plant and safety
compliance and provided with all sufficient training and PPE. Coordinate trainings of personnel with
L&D.
Perform any other activities as per desalination Engineer/Manager instructions.
Cover other shift supervisor during vacation, absences or emergency as per desalination
engineer/manager instruction.
**Skills**:
At least 7 years related professional experience, with 3years supervisory experience
Work experience in a utility industry environment
Excellent planning, organizing and scheduling skills; supervision/leader ship skills
Licensed professional Engineer
Knowledge of water desalination specifically Reverse Osmosis (RO) minimum 5 years in desalination
plant operation
