Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a CNC Machine Operator, located in Dubai with some work-from-home flexibility. The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating CNC machines, ensuring quality control, managing machine settings, performing milling and machining tasks, and maintaining machinery. The operator will work closely with the production team to meet company standards and production goals.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cellular Glass CNC Machine Operator located in Jubail, with some work from home acceptable. The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, milling, and machining cellular glass materials. Daily tasks include setting up machines, conducting quality control checks, monitoring machinery, and ensuring that all operations meet safety and production standards. The operator will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise during the machining process.

is looking for a
Foam Glass CNC Machine Operator
to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating CNC machines and handling foam glass or similar insulation materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machine operation (foam glass or insulation material experience preferred).
• Technical or vocational background in machining or mechanical operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Candidates available in
  Saudi Arabia
  are preferred.

Role & responsibilities

Based on the provided process instructions, the procedure for cutting pipes and blanks includes the following steps:

1. Preparation for work

• Make sure that the equipment (cutting machine, tool, cooling systems, protection) is in good working order.
• Check the availability and compliance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Check the label on the pipe package: check the steel grade, dimensions, length, and the presence of a pipe passport (if required).

2. Control of incoming pipes

• Make sure that the pipes have been straightened and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Check the curvature of the pipes (deviation from straightness should not exceed permissible values).
• Measure the outer diameter of 23 pipes from the package using a micrometer type MK in three sections (at the ends and in the middle).

3. Setting up the equipment

• Select and install cutting tools (cutters, abrasive wheels, deburring brushes) in accordance with the steel grade and pipe size.
• Set up the stop for cutting to length:
• Pre-setting: manual or mechanized movement of the stop.
• Fine adjustment: after control cutting and measuring the length with a tape measure.

4. Cutting pipes

• Cutting should be carried out using one of the following types of equipment:
• Abrasive cutting machines " Radiak ", ALAOS.
• Cutting machines: 9A151, 9D151, 9D152, 91A11, etc.
• Spindleless machines ALBTS.
• For pipes made of steel according to TU , TU 14-3R-55 and export grades, use cutters with carbide plates.
• Cutting should be carried out without cooling emulsion (except for stainless steels).
• Control the length of the trim :
• At Radiak - up to 80 mm (in workshop No. 14 - up to 140 mm).
• At ALAOS - up to 80 mm (in workshop No. 14 - up to 100 mm).
• On cutting machines - up to 50 mm (in workshop No. 9 - up to 120 mm).
• On ALBTS - up to 70 mm.

5. Removing burrs

• Use:
• A folding lever with a cutter or a burr.
• Double-cutter chamfering machine .
• Brushes for ALAOS.
• Visually check each pipe for burrs.

6. Quality control after cutting

• Check:
• The length of the measuring pipes is measured with a tape measure.
• No ovalization or crumpling of the ends.
• No scratches, marks or dents.
• Perpendicularity of the cut.
• Measure the outer diameter at the points where the chuck clamps (selectively, 23 pipes from the package).

7. Resolving inconsistencies

• If defects are found :
• Replace the tool.
• Adjust the clamping device, steady rests, roller tables.
• Check and adjust the stop.
• Replace the brush or deburring tool.

8. Documentation

• Write in the log:
• Date, shift.
• Pipe sizes, package number.
• Number of acceptable and rejected pipes.
• Comments on quality.

9. Delivery of products

• Transfer the pipes to the UKK for control.
• Make sure that all pipes in the package are marked and comply with ND.
• Attach a label to the package (according to the identification instructions).

Safety requirements:

• Use PPE: special clothing, protective glasses, gloves.
• Do not allow work on faulty equipment.
• Observe the operating rules of the machines.
• Immediately report any discrepancies or accidents to the master

Preferred candidate profile

CANDIDATES SHOULD BE PHYSICALLY FIT AND HEALTHY AS THEY WILL BE WORKING IN COLD WEATHER. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE 05-07 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN SAME FIELD.

CANDIDATE SHOULD BE COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH.

CANDIDATE AGE SHOULD BE 25-45 YEARS OF AGE ONLY (STRICTLY).

FOOD / ACCOMMODATION / TRANSPORTATION / MEDICAL INSURANCE PROVIDED BY COMPANY

• Program and operate CNC bending machines, ensuring accurate bends according to blueprints and specifications, optimizing for speed and material yield.
• Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks, using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances, and make necessary adjustments.
• Select and load appropriate tooling, including punches and dies, into the CNC bending machine, and maintain the tooling in optimal condition.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshooting minor mechanical issues and reporting significant problems to maintenance, and ensuring minimal downtime.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field is a plus.
• Possess strong understanding of bending principles, metal properties, and blueprint reading.
• Proficient in operating and programming CNC bending machines, with experience in various control systems.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in CNC bending machine operation, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Job Purpose

Responsible for operating production machinery and carrying out quality control checks. They ensure that products are produced to the highest standards, meeting the required safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Detecting and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the department Lead
• Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations
• Remaining familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform all tasks required for each machine
• Accepting frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up
• Completing all daily paperwork fully, accurately, truthfully, and timely for daily production entering into the system
• Oversee safety of an operator in training

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor all equipment and systems within the aseptic production (fill-finish) department in compliance with GMP standards and approved procedures.
• Perform routine operations such as washing, sterilization, formulation, filling, and cleaning activities, ensuring proper documentation of each step in the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).
• Support and execute process trials, technology transfer, and new material introduction activities as required to ensure smooth production transitions.
• Adhere strictly to batch record procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) during all stages of the manufacturing process.
• Ensure environmental control and cleanliness of the aseptic area by coordinating with professional cleaning staff as per the defined schedule and maintaining compliance with aseptic behavior standards.
• Conduct and record in-process checks, reporting any deviations, abnormalities, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
• Support equipment preparation, assembly, and disassembly in accordance with the aseptic gowning and hygiene standards.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment by following all GMP, GDP, and safety protocols.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Diploma of Pharmacy/Engineering or equivalent.
• +5 years of experience in pharmaceutical aseptic or sterile manufacturing, preferably in fill-finish operations (formulation, vial/syringe filling, or compounding).
