Job Summary
Responsible for determining all of the different methods for transporting goods. A few of the main duties of an expeditor are tracking an order, handling delivery delays, coordinating with the warehouse supervisor, and ensuring all orders have been shipped out.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Compiles and maintains material and component inventory and status information to speed up material and part flow between production areas, in line with preset production schedules and order priority. Reads production schedules, inventory data,
and work orders to assess required material type and amount, stock availability, and order priority.
2. Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas, manually or using handcart, hand truck, or forklift.
3. Records and maintains perpetual inventory of quantity and type of materials and parts received, stocked, and distributed, manually or by the system.
4. Monitors the receipt of all materials; Resolves any discrepancies. Monitors the flow of paperwork for timely data entry.
5. Compiles and maintains records, such as material inventory records and production records.
6. May direct material handlers to expedite transfer of materials from stock area to production areas.
7. May examine material received, verify part numbers, and check discrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts.
8. Work with the warehouse manager to ensure all shipments are delivered.
9. Performs any other responsibilities assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

OverviewKey Responsibilities
- Strategic Implementation & Compliance: Lead the full lifecycle implementation of SAP MRO processes, from strategic blueprinting to go-live, ensuring strict alignment with military standards, operational readiness requirements, and defense-specific regulations (e.g., MIL-SPEC, ITAR, specific government compliance frameworks).
- Translate complex defense operational requirements—such as unit-level maintenance, depot repair, and flyaway kit management—into robust and compliant SAP solutions.
- Conduct detailed business process analysis and gap analysis, focusing on the unique challenges of defense MRO, including strict asset tracking, security protocols, and sensitive data management.
- Module & Process Expertise: Serve as the primary subject matter expert for SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Logistics Execution (LE), with a direct focus on their application in a defense context.
- Design and configure SAP solutions for critical MRO processes, including:
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Ensuring high operational uptime of weapon systems, vehicles, and support equipment.
- Configuration Control: Managing complex, serialized assets and their hierarchies.
- Spare Parts & Rotables Management: Optimizing the supply chain for mission-critical parts and managing restricted interchangeability.
- Work Order & Depot Maintenance: Streamlining repair and overhaul activities for major assemblies and components.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Security: Collaborate with key military and civilian stakeholders, including maintenance commanders, logisticians, engineers, and security officers, to ensure the SAP solution meets all tactical and strategic objectives.
- Develop functional specifications for enhancements and customizations, paying close attention to security-by-design principles to protect sensitive data.
- Work closely with SAP technical teams (ABAP, BASIS, Security) to enforce stringent security protocols and data segregation policies within the SAP landscape.
- Training & Support: Develop and deliver specialized training programs and documentation tailored to defense personnel and their specific roles (e.g., maintainers, supply sergeants, planners).
- Provide expert-level support for MRO-related incidents, with a focus on rapid issue resolution to minimize impact on operational readiness.
- System Integrity & Optimization: Monitor and report on SAP system performance and data integrity, ensuring compliance with government audit requirements. Lead process optimization initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of defense maintenance operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Engineering, Logistics).
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as an SAP consultant, with at least 3 years focused on SAP MRO/PM modules within the defense or aerospace industry.
- Proven experience leading at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation in a highly regulated, defense-related environment.
- Deep functional knowledge of SAP PM/EAM, with a strong understanding of its integration with MM, PP, and other core logistics modules.
- Demonstrated knowledge of defense MRO processes, including combat readiness reporting, asset configuration management, and depot maintenance.
- SAP Certification in PM/MRO or a related module.

JOB PURPOSEBAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.
BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of the Saudi National Partner Companies thereby reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships.
The purpose of this role is carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs and modifications for Tornado on and off aircraft. You may also be required to provide support to RSAF away from TSS.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES- Performs major and minor mechanical maintenance, repairs, modifications and TCTO’s for Tornado on and off aircraft.
- Is responsible for the quality and completeness of the work he carries out, or signs for as having been carried out, on an aircraft or aircraft component in accordance with the approved data.
- Works within the requirements of the TSS Quality Management System, Safety Management System and RSAF Technical Orders.
- Completes Maintenance paperwork forms, appropriate aircraft forms, records and maintenance documentation both hard and electronic copies.
- Ensures maximum effort is made to safeguard the TSS programme timescales in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Highlights to their immediate supervisor areas of inexperience or training requirements, for themselves and others.
- Provides on-the-job and theory training for trainees.
- Deputises, if required, for the aircraft supervisor.
- Have extensive proven experience within operational flying aircraft environment supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training OR substantial proven experience on Tornado aircraft OR successful completion of BAESSA apprenticeship programme (SNTTP/TSNTTP)
- Current authorisations for aircraft maintenance.
- Completion of Tornado Aircraft maintenance course.
- Working knowledge of Q-pulse, GOLD and an understanding of M&CA processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Hold a current driving licence.
- Have a sound understanding of the RSAF 4-1-7166 series and supporting technical publications applicable to their work area. An understanding of the RSAF Operation and working practices.
- Knowledge of relevant parts of the MOE and procedures.
- Ability to confirm full accomplishment of AGE maintenance tasks.
- Use, control, be familiar with required tooling and equipment.
