Responsibilities
- Performs unit level aircraft electrical, navigational and avionics repairman maintenance on aircraft avionics and avionics electrical components.
- Performs maintenance on the electrical/avionics associated with the aircraft using the specific aircraft Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Aircraft Check List Manual, and any customer or specific directives.
- Diagnoses and repairs aircraft systems and components malfunctions including solid state and transistorized devices according to the appropriate technical manuals, directives and safety procedures.
- Uses common measuring tools necessary for performing the tasks described herein, precision measuring tools and alignment fixtures.
- Performs aircraft systems operational checks. Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs aircraft avionics systems test sets and diagnostic equipment.
- Assists customer in the requisition and maintenance of shop and bench stock items for repair of aircraft avionics systems, avionics instruments.
- Uses and performs operator maintenance on common and special tools, AGSE and PGSE.
- Ensures that aircraft electrical maintenance functional activities and procedures among designated organizations are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness (OR) rates IAW contractual requirements.
- Responsible for the compliance with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform OR rates.
- Establishes daily aircraft electrical maintenance operational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in-order to achieve stated OR rates
- Oversees the daily aircraft electrical maintenance management of individually assigned aircraft in support of the Maintenance Lead, in conjunction with Aviation Logistics for CH-47 parts and spares.
- Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
- Directs inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation electrical maintenance of the aircraft and supporting maintenance activities to the Maintenance Lead.
- Coordinates activities and requirements for maintenance operations support with the Maintenance Lead.
- In coordination with the PC and Maintenance Lead, supports the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures.
- Enters data, reviews, and updates aircraft maintenance forms and records.
- Provides On-the-Job Training (OJT), coaching, and mentoring to RSLFAC personnel in all aspects of aircraft avionics tasks as necessary.
- Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.
- Other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Lead.
- Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities within the parameters of his Lead's direction.
Qualifications
- Six (6) years' experience as an aircraft avionics technician.
- Successfully completed and be qualified by the appropriate U.S. Government armed forces Avionics Technician course or civilian equivalent training.
- Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms or similar aviation maintenance management system, and other aircraft related documentation.
- Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
- Possess a valid state or Government issued driver's license.
- Successfully pass an overseas deployment physically upon hire.
- Must be a US Citizen.

Position Accountability

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all electrical backup systems, including generators, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, batteries, and emergency lighting, ensuring full operational readiness.
Monitor the operation of backup power systems to ensure seamless transitions during power outages and maintain continuous power to critical infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical backup systems, coordinating with vendors and service providers for advanced repairs or replacements when necessary.
Ensure compliance with DACO's safety regulations and electrical standards, updating and maintaining all electrical backup systems in line with industry best practices.

We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The purpose of this role is carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs and modifications for Tornado on and off aircraft. You may also be required to provide support to RSAF away from TSS.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES- Performs major and minor mechanical maintenance, repairs, modifications and TCTO’s for Tornado on and off aircraft.
- Is responsible for the quality and completeness of the work he carries out, or signs for as having been carried out, on an aircraft or aircraft component in accordance with the approved data.
- Works within the requirements of the TSS Quality Management System, Safety Management System and RSAF Technical Orders.
- Completes Maintenance paperwork forms, appropriate aircraft forms, records and maintenance documentation both hard and electronic copies.

- Knowledge of relevant parts of the MOE and procedures.

About You

- GACA / FAA / EASA or other CAA Aircraft Maintenance License (if available)

Nature of Work Statement:
- The purpose of the jobs in the Aircraft Maintenance Safety & Quality Job Family is to ensure the continuous airworthiness of the aircraft according to GACA regulations and the required company standards with regard to safety and quality and monitor the compliance with, and the adequacy of procedures required, to ensure safe operational practices and airworthy aircrafts. The members of the job family are also responsible to audit all relevant departments and services providers in regard to quality levels and safety in line with Saudi Airlines' policies and ensure the exchange of quality and safety relevant information with operational personnel and other operational units affecting Maintenance safety and quality. The members of the job family are also responsible to participate in aircraft incidents or accident investigations.
Role Purpose:
- The jobs in this level are responsible for performing limited assignments of specific tasks focused on monitoring compliance with established practices and analyzing problem areas of Maintenance Safety & Quality issues. Assists top compliance officers in assuring regulatory compliance in the Saudi Airlines' operations. Usually jobs holder performs above-mentioned after orientation and training.
Accountabilities:
- Supports and assists more technically experienced professionals in developing solutions and investigation of problems.
- Develops and maintains statistical data on the quantity and type of regulatory violations.
- Performs timely review of documentation for compliance with regulation.
- Follows up with departments to coordinate and communicate regarding certain compliance or solution issues.
- Prepare audit plans for Safety and Quality audits.
- Implements QMS/ SMS / Lean Management to monitor safety & quality and enhance processes effectiveness.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Aeronautical / Avionics / Industrial / Technology Engineering / Technical / Instrumentation Technology / Industrial Management / Project Management) or any Engineering related subject.
