Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards. This role focuses on optimizing shipping processes, managing resources, and driving operational excellence to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management, Last Mile Delivery and On-demand Delivery:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day shipping and logistics operations.
• IT enhancement and development follow up.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments to meet customer expectations.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management and stock accuracy.

3PL Management:

• Reporting.
• Track partners daily performance.
• Price negations.
• Reports key clints daily and monthly performance.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and train shipping staff to maintain high performance.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure operational goals are met.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Process Optimization:

• Identify inefficiencies in the shipping process and implement solutions to enhance performance.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all shipping activities.
• Monitor KPIs to assess operational performance and recommend improvements.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure all operations comply with local and international shipping regulations.

• Manage risks associated with disruptions and shipping and develop contingency plans.

Customer Focus:

• Collaborate with the customer service team to address and resolve delivery issues.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining excellent service quality.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, industrial engineer or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or operations management, preferably in the shipping sector.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, supply chain optimization and atomization.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
• Professions in Arabic and English.
• Microsoft (Excel professional – power BI – Word).

Job Summary:

Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor looks after the whole sales operation at the WH. He must maintain good liaison with sales personnel Commercial, Industry, Government and RSU to serve their customers efficiently.

He is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations and ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective shipping processes. This role oversees the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods, while maintaining

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Shipping and Logistics: -

Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of shipments; coordinate with carriers and logistics partners for on-time deliveries.

Staff Supervision and Training: -

Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse and shipping personnel to ensure optimal team performance and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Ensure Safety and Compliance: -

Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance within the warehouse and during shipping processes.

Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.

Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.

Maintain records of safety incidents, shipping errors, and corrective actions.

Documentation and Reporting: -

Maintain accurate shipping records, inventory logs, and warehouse documentation. Prepare reports for management on stock levels, shipments, and operational performance.

Optimize Operational Efficiency: -

Identify and implement process improvements in warehouse layout, materials handling, and shipping practices to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Implement lean or 5S practices to improve warehouse efficiency.

Coordinate with Internal Departments: -

Liaise with planning, customer service, and production teams to align shipping schedules and resolve delivery issues.

Plan and Monitor Transport Operations: -

Coordinate vehicle schedules and delivery routes.

Track and monitor fleet movements using GPS or fleet management software.

Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.

Supervise Drivers and Transport Staff: -

Assign routes and provide clear instructions to drivers.

Monitor driver performance, behavior, and compliance with company policies.

Handle driver concerns, attendance, and disciplinary issues

Ensure Regulatory Compliance: -

Ensure drivers adhere to traffic laws, hours-of-service regulations, and safety procedures.

Maintain transport documentation, such as delivery logs, fuel usage, and inspection records.

Support compliance with local transport authority and environmental regulations

Fleet Maintenance Coordination: -

Schedule regular inspections and maintenance of vehicles.

Report vehicle defects and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams or service providers

Job Knowledge:

Academic:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering or a related field preferred.

Additional Training:
Logistic and warehousing courses, CLTD, APICS.

Related Work Experience

3–5 years of warehouse and shipping experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Experience with ERP systems (Oracle & SAP) and warehouse management software (WMS)

Language skills:
Arabic and English are required.
