The Logistics Manager will be based in Saudi Arabia. In this position, you will report to the Factory General Manager. The Logistics Manager will be responsible and accountable for ensuring the right products are delivered to the right location on time, to the quality required and in the most cost-effective way. General Task Management
- Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.
- Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance.
- Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
- Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers
- Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency
- Select carriers/suppliers and monitor service against performance criteria.
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues.
- Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers and report results to others.
- Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes in potential new facilities or plants and advise of cost implications and efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities.
- Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports
- Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records agreements.
- Keep track of slow moving and obsolete stock.
- Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process.
- Interpret trends and analyze and review data. Provide meaningful logistics data to others in the organization to aid customer service and cost improvements.
- Ensure IT systems in place are effective, maintained and accurate Ensure parts are sourced in full and aligned to production schedules and customer requirements.
- Manage, coach and develop a high performing Procurement team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
- Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them.
- Input and hold responsibility for departmental budgets.
- Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards requirements delivery in line with Company and Customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
- Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the maintenance strategy.
- Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred, HND, BTech. Professional Level 5 Award or equivalent NVQ Level 5 qualifications.
- Prior experience of working in logistics/supply chain/transportation function within the automotive or manufacturing environment with a comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes and procedures.
- Expert knowledge of technical regulations related to logistics such as import/export and customs regulations, including security requirements to include certification in dangerous goods handling and aviation security.
- Proven 10-12 years of experience as a Logistics manager.
- A results-driven approach and a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good technical and IT skills, working knowledge of SAP or Netsuite will be advantage.
- High degree of knowledge and understanding of a variety of manufacturing and automotive processes and components and of supply chain management.
- Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including knowledge and understanding of specialist systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Bill of Material (BOM) and customer data systems.
- Advanced Excel user.

JOB OBJECTIVE

. This role will oversee the complete material lifecycle, from supply planning and inventory control to warehousing and last-mile distribution, ensuring seamless operations that support our fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Materials Management
- Supervise the receipt, storage, and distribution of all operational and project materials
- Ensure proper material handling, minimizing damages and losses
- Monitor consumption and waste to drive efficiency
2. FMCG Supply Chain Coordination
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain, from procurement to distribution
- Coordinate closely with suppliers, transporters, and customs agents to ensure timely material flow
- Monitor lead times, track POs, and resolve delivery delays
- Negotiate contracts and assess supplier performance regularly
3. Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Lead the implementation of an efficient ERP-based inventory system
- Conduct regular stock audits, ensure inventory accuracy, and reduce shrinkage
- Maintain optimal stock levels, especially for high-velocity FMCG items
- Ensure hygienic, organized, and compliant warehouse operations
4. Logistics Operations & Distribution
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics for bulk and retail goods
- Plan and optimize transportation schedules for cost and time efficiency

Saudi customs and transportation regulations - Manage and track third-party logistics (3PL) partners and last-mile delivery teams
5. Reporting & Analytics
- Maintain detailed records of inventory movement, damages, and returns
- Generate reports on stock turnover, logistics KPIs, and transportation costs
- Identify areas for cost reduction and performance improvement
6. Forecasting & Planning
- Work with procurement and sales to forecast material and product requirements
- Align logistics plans with demand cycles, especially for seasonal FMCG sales trends
- Adjust inventory and supply strategies based on market demand patterns
7. Risk & Regulatory Compliance
- Develop contingency plans for potential supply chain disruptions
- Stay up to date with all import/export regulations in KSA
8. Team Leadership
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics coordinators
- Conduct training, performance reviews, and ensure adherence to SOPs
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (Master's is a plus)
- 7–10 years of logistics experience

The Logistics Manager will be based in Saudi Arabia. In this position, you will report to the Factory General Manager. The Logistics Manager will be responsible and accountable for ensuring the right products are delivered to the right location on time, to the quality required and in the most cost-effective way. General Task Management
- Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.
- Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance.
- Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
- Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers
- Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency
- Select carriers/suppliers and monitor service against performance criteria.
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues.
- Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers and report results to others.
- Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes in potential new facilities or plants and advise of cost implications and efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities.
- Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports
- Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records agreements.
- Keep track of slow moving and obsolete stock.
- Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process.
- Interpret trends and analyze and review data. Provide meaningful logistics data to others in the organization to aid customer service and cost improvements.
- Ensure IT systems in place are effective, maintained and accurate Ensure parts are sourced in full and aligned to production schedules and customer requirements.
People Management
- Manage, coach and develop a high performing Procurement team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
- Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them.
Financial and Budget Control
- Input and hold responsibility for departmental budgets.
Relationship Management
- Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards requirements delivery in line with Company and Customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.

Here Is Some Of What You'll Need (required)…
- Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred, HND, BTech. Professional Level 5 Award or equivalent NVQ Level 5 qualifications.
- Prior experience of working in logistics/supply chain/transportation function within the automotive or manufacturing environment with a comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes and procedures.
- Expert knowledge of technical regulations related to logistics such as import/export and customs regulations, including security requirements to include certification in dangerous goods handling and aviation security.
- Proven 10-12 years of experience as a Logistics manager.
- A results-driven approach and a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good technical and IT skills, working knowledge of SAP or Netsuite will be advantage.
