The ideal candidate will bring 8 years of hands-on experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on quality control, site supervision, and project handover processes. This role requires in-depth knowledge of construction standards, QA/QC protocols, and the ability to ensure the successful delivery and close-out of civil works in a fast-paced project environment. Candidates with airport project experience will be preferred.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Oversee and enforce quality standards on-site for all civil activities in accordance with project specifications and international standards.
- Monitor contractor compliance, and ensure that all civil works meet required quality benchmarks.
- Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Material Approval Requests (MARs).
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
- Provide technical guidance to ensure proper execution of civil works, including earthworks, concrete, pavements, and drainage systems.

- Technical Oversight: Review shop drawings, BOQs, and submittals.Ensure compliance with telecom operator standards (e.g., STC, Mobily, Zain) and international codes.Supervise foundation construction, anchor bolt installation, and structural inspections.Support thecommissioning of power systemsand shelter environments.
- Quality & Safety: Enforce QA/QC and HSE protocols across all GSM sites.Conduct inspections for grounding, lightning protection, and structural integrity.Ensure compliance with soil compaction, concrete curing, and backfilling standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with telecom project managers, RF engineers, and vendors. Report progress and resolve technical issues related to civil works.Manage subcontractor performance and ensure documentation is up to date.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Telecommunication, or Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in telecom infrastructure, with 5+ years in GSM projects
- Strong understanding of telecom site components: towers, shelters, BTS, MW, rectifiers, and generators.
Skills & Certifications:
- Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and Primavera
- Familiar with telecom and civil standards (e.g. TIA-607, NEC, IEEE, ACI, ASTM)
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- Preferred: PMP, OSHA, Huawei/Ericsson/Nokia vendor certification
