Parsons is looking for a highly experienced and vigilant Security Manager - Aviation to join our team to oversee and implement comprehensive security operations for a major airport development program, with a specific focus on the airfield and airside construction areas.
The role requires strong leadership and in-depth knowledge of airport and airside security protocols, personnel access control, and risk mitigation within active and high-security construction environments. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in security management, preferably in aviation or infrastructure megaprojects.
What You'll Be Doing;
- Develop and implement the project’s site-wide security strategy in line with international airport security standards and client requirements.
- Lead the planning and enforcement of airside and landside access controls, ensuring secure zones are properly demarcated, protected, and monitored.
- Oversee the deployment of security personnel, CCTV systems, fencing, access gates, and control points across the construction site.
- Ensure strict adherence to airside security regulations, including personnel and vehicle access, escort procedures, and zone clearances.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with aviation and project-specific security protocols.
- Coordinate with construction and logistics teams to secure movement of materials, equipment, and workers into sensitive zones.
- Conduct regular threat and risk assessments related to construction activities near operational or restricted areas.
- Establish and maintain emergency response protocols, including incident reporting, investigation, and escalation procedures.
