Job Description:
Responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and executing civil works related to telecom tower projects across Saudi Arabia. The role involves site preparation, tower foundation construction, compliance with Saudi authority regulations, and ensuring timely delivery as per client requirements (STC, Mobily, Zain, Huawei etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys, soil testing, and structural design for telecom tower foundations.
- Supervise civil works, including excavation, concreting, foundation casting, shelter installation, fencing, and access roads.
- Ensure tower erection readiness by coordinating with project and rigging teams.
- Prepare and review BOQs, drawings, and method statements for tower-related civil activities.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Codes, municipal authority standards, and telecom operator specifications (STC, Mobily, Zain).
- Handle authority approvals, permits, and inspections with local municipalities and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality, HSE compliance, and timely execution.
- Prepare progress reports, highlight risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, telecom engineers, and client representatives for smooth handover.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3 -5 years experience in civil works related to telecom tower projects (greenfield and rooftop).
- Hands-on experience with tower foundations, shelters, fencing, and site development.
- Familiar with KSA regulations, authority approval processes, and compliance systems (Qiwa, GOSI, HRSD, etc.).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera for design and project scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of HSE practices in telecom construction projects.
- Valid transferable Iqama preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Arabic knowledge is an advantage).
